WINTER/SPRING 2021

Badgerland Champion GIRL SCOUT EVENTS January-June 2024 January 1

A new year means it’s time to change it up a bit! You’ll notice some events shared earlier in the Fall Champion are missing from this booklet. Here’s the why: Badgerland is refreshing all programming to be more educational while providing genuinely impactful Girl Scout experiences. That takes leadership and staff. While we build the team, please be assured the events offered will be first-class opportunities for all Girl Scouts. We’re excited for the future and all the (even more amazing) events coming your way in 2024.

Our Year of Change! Grow with Daisies will end with the January program. Our goal is to provide on-point training for first-time leaders to deliver impactful programming at the troop level. Top Cookie Sellerbration is transforming into a VIP just-for-you camp experience. And we’re hosting the events at both Camp Ehawee and Camp Brandenburg to make the locations much more accessible for all top sellers. And there’s more! You can choose when to come; morning and afternoon sessions are offered for your convenience. All top sellers deserve to be treated like VIPs, and what’s more Girl Scout special than your own time at our fabulous camps?! You’ll love this exciting day, and we’ll share more details on what to expect in the Spring. Winter Wonderland, Indoor SkillsFest, and Camp Chef are going away. Instead, the Outdoor Team is hyperfocused on delivering Girl Scouts the most incredible Spring (good weather!) and Summer (we can’t wait!) on-site camp wowzer experiences. The Badgerland Education Team is redesigning Older Girl Programming, and that means our PA Training, for now, is on hold. This leadership program is coming back for Cadettes. Also impacted in Badgerland Brunch, which will be revamped into DEI-focused opportunities for teenage Girl Scouts. Girl Gala is expanding and moving! The April celebration of awards-earning Girl Scouts now welcomes Silver Award honorees to the stage—same April 20 date and now at the River Arts Center in Sauk County. On My Honor is now in September. Celebrating all Badgerland volunteers, the event will be paired with the (brief!) Annual Meeting and be super-duper special.
