Hey Hey, Campers!

Girl Scout Summer Camp is a place to make new friends, try new things, and challenge yourself. Discover YOU while exploring the outdoors and challenging yourself in new ways. It’s an opportunity to be bold, be brave, and unlock your endless potential.

Our unique girl-led programming helps girls develop a positive self-image, as well as leadership and social skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives. Camp helps girls build courage, confidence, and character by connecting with others and their natural environment.

Registration for all camp sessions is first come, first served. We recommend booking as soon as possible to secure a place in your favorite camp sessions.

Early-bird registration is available for two weeks, beginning on January 21, 2026. Early registrants will receive $75 off their camp costs. General registration opens on February 4, 2026. See page 3 for more details.

We’ll see you there!

- Your GSACPC Camp Team

Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC) values and honors diversity, equity and inclusion among its staff, board, donors, girls, and adult volunteers and members. The Girl Scout Movement was founded to help all girls reach their full potential by creating a safe place for girls to foster their individual growth, character, and self-sufficiency and leadership. GSACPC values these founding principles and is committed to upholding them. GSACPC will not deny membership to staff, board, donors, girl, and adult members or volunteers because of race, color, ethnicity, religious or spiritual beliefs, age, national origin, socioeconomic status, documentation status, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation.

Not a Girl Scout? No Problem!

All girls are invited to register for Girl Scout Camp. We add the $45 Girl Scout membership fee to your camp session registration total (campers must have a membership for insurance coverage). The Girl Scout membership will be valid May 1, 2026, to Sept. 30, 2026. This means campers can also participate in any Girl Scout activities they’d like during this time, without paying additional member fees! For more information about year-round Girl Scout opportunities, visit girlscoutsaz.org/activities.

Open House Visits

Be sure to check out our open houses and choose the right camp for your summer adventure! Visit one or all our three northern properties. Families can tour the lodges, visit activity areas, see cabin units, meet the staff, and learn more about our camps! Registration is not required but is encouraged. Transportation

• Campers may be driven to camp OR

• Register for bus transportation from and to the Phoenix metro area. Bus confirmation emails with additional details will be sent a week before the session starts. Bus transportation is $75 one-way or $150 round-trip for our camps in Prescott and Payson. We recommend parents send their campers on the bus as this reduces congestion at our facilities and taking the bus allows them to meet other campers before they arrive, feel more comfortable before the start of a new adventure, and make new friends. Buses are air conditioned, equipped with bathrooms, and supervised by bus chaperones.

Bus Locations

Maripai, Willow, and Shadow Rim

Central Phoenix (all camps): Park Central Parking Lot (behind parking structure/corner of 2nd Ave & Osborn) 3300 N. Central Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85012

In addition to memories that will last a lifetime, amazing stories of their adventures, and endless rounds of camp songs for days on end, each camper will come home with a camper envelope that includes:

• A Girl Scout patch earned by your camper.

• Camper Highlights – camp counselors’ reflection on the ways your camper exhibited positive characteristics at camp.

• Unit photo of your camper, their counselors, and the friends she made.

• Opportunities to continue her Girl Scout adventures after the summer!

Check-in day and times vary depending on the session start date at the camp. Read your bus confirmation packet carefully (sent to each family via email) for information about transportation check-in and pick-up days, times, and locations. Camp sessions at our northern camps start and end on different days this summer.

Want to be a bus chaperone? We are always looking for volunteers to chaperone our buses. If your camper rides the bus and you volunteer as a chaperone, they can ride the bus for no cost! You must register and pay for bus transportation in advance, and a bus refund will be issued after the trip is completed. All chaperones will start the journey from our Central Phoenix stop. You’re welcome to volunteer for trips even though your camper is not attending a session, we would love your help! Reimbursements will ONLY be given to those who have reserved a spot. Find more information, safety procedures and chaperone information at girlscoutsaz.org/camp-bus. Bus locations are subject to change. Please refer to the website. Transportation is not available for family/troop weekend programs.

Trading Post

During their stay at our camps, campers will visit the camp store, called the Trading Post, at least once. Our trading posts offer a chance for girls to purchase a souvenir or a snack. We recommend $20 for a week’s stay and the money be placed in your camper’s trading post account during the registration process. We do not advise campers to bring cash to camp. Prices at the trading post can vary between 50¢ to $2 for snacks, and $2-$25 for stuffed animals, t-shirts, sweaters, water bottles, flashlights, and more!

Be mindful of the amount chosen each session because Trading Post monies:

• Can be used at any camp Trading Post

• Any money remaining in the account is non-refundable (in whole or part)

• Trading Post credits expire on December 31 of each year

Monies accepted for Trading Post purchases:

If your camper comes to camp with additional money, we encourage campers to create a Trading Post account upon arrival to camp. Camp is not responsible for lost cash.

Earn Your Way Cookies to Camp!

How does selling packages of Girl Scout Cookies support the Girl Scout Summer Camp Program? When a girl sells cookies, she is not only selling a package of deliciousness, but also investing in herself and her GSACPC sisters. Program credits and camp vouchers can be redeemed for individual girl camp sessions, troop proceeds can be used for troop camp and encampments, and a portion of council proceeds are used to support camperships and maintain our properties. But did you know that she is also part of something even bigger—something thousands of awesome girls nationwide who are a part of too? When she participates in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, she is part of the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world—and that’s a huge deal!

Am

All Girl Scouts can sell Girl Scout Cookies and choose to earn program credits or camp vouchers as their cookie incentive reward. Program credits can be used for camp session fees, bus, Trading Post, membership fees, council shop, and travel.

All deposits must be held by credit card before applying program credits and/or camp vouchers. For more information, visit girlscoutsaz.org/ program-credits or email reghelp@girlscoutsaz.org.

I Ready for Overnight Camp?

We are so appreciative when families and girls ask this question. We share your desire to find the best camp experiences possible, and for this reason, we offer a rich progression of sessions. You can choose from a variety of options – from day camp or day camp with overnight options, to shorter mini sessions, weekend sessions with family or troops, or traditional, week-long and multi-week overnight sessions.

Girl Scout Summer Camp has something for every level of readiness! Although age plays a big role in determining a camper’s readiness for overnight/resident camp, maturity and openness to a new adventure are also important. We suggest reviewing and discussing the following list of skills and abilities to decide what is best.

• I can ask for help when needed.

• I can follow directions in a group setting.

• I’m excited to make new friends.

• I’m comfortable being outdoors in nature.

• I have been away from home overnight.

• I can take a shower and brush my teeth by myself.

• I’m good at keeping track of my personal belongings.

• I’m good at using my camp equipment (i.e., water bottle, mess kit, sunscreen)

If you and your camper decide she’s not ready for a full week of overnight camp, consider the mini sessions (4 days/3 nights) at each of our northern camps, or family camp or troop weekends.

What to Expect for Summer 2026

Rim Ranch Shadow

Shadow Rim Ranch is a 47-acre camp nestled deep in the pines of the Tonto National Forest and tucked under the beautiful Mogollon Rim. Shadow Rim offers a climbing tower and zip line, archery range, canoeing, naturalist programming/hiking, and traditional pioneer skills at the original heritage homestead cabin.

Chase Creek flows through camp and beckons campers to creek-walk and provides water to our unique pake (too big to be a pond, too small to be a lake). Camp facilities include the lodge, Trading Post, wellness center, arts & crafts cabin, garden, little free library, and four cabin units (3 of the 4 units are primitive cabins without electricity). All units have running water, showers and flushing toilets. Counselors live in a separate cabin near the camper cabins. All activities are weather permitting.

We heard campers’ requests for both shorter camp sessions and longer camp sessions, and this year we are offering a bit of everything. We will once again offer a trip and travel experience (grades 9-12) where they will have the opportunity to adventure across our wonderful state!
