The legendary winery in Ribera del Duero

Matarromera came to life in 1988, when Carlos Moro, the founder of the Group, continuing in the winemaking tradition of his forebears, decided to renew the vineyard and planned the construction of a new winery which maintains the traditional production methods Matarromera was the fruit of these ideas being turned into reality.

Valdelosfrailes Winery

Cigales is one of the Spanish most promising winemaking areas. Matarromera Group created Valdelosfrailes in the locality of Cubillas de Santa Marta. This new Cigales winery has the ideal modern machinery for making high quality red wines , along with Reservas, Crianzas and young wines. The raw material used is its own grapes, mainly the principal variety of the region, Tinto Fino or Tempranillo. Visit the winery guided by the winemaker and find out the secret of its wines.

Rento´ secrets In Olivares de Duero, the Marquis of Olivares built a noble mansion with all the complements of stables, wine cellars and other installations. The building later became an inn, and then a Jesuit monastery until King Carlos III expelled them in the 19th century.
