organisations as Polski Holding Nieruchomości, Kazar, and ARPI & Partners to participate in the substantive discussion. The discussion under the slogan “You don’t need to raise cows to drink milk” enjoyed significant interest. Another speaker was Mateusz Chudzik from the Law Firm Chudzik i Wspólnicy, who presented the rules regarding cooperation with outsourcing companies. Mr Chudzik’s lecture was also an excellent opportunity to learn more about issues related to the protection of personal data and other legal issues. The second to last lecture was the presentation of the topic of outsourcing and the presence of the industry in international and Polish media. The lecture was conducted by Wiktor Doktór – the President of the Pro Progressio Foundation. Based on the presented data, in the last decade, there were more than 10,000 publications in Polish media whose topic was outsourcing. On the first day of the Fair, the Outsourcing Academy was closed by the lecture of Gamila Abduraufova, the President of the Management Board of Interchange Solutions, who discussed the subject of outsourcing marketing, advertising, and PR activities. The lectures were also continued on the second day of the fair and began with a lecture by Professor Witold Modzelewski, regarding the methods that allow for decreasing the risk of criminal and criminal and fiscal liability in the case of honest taxpayers. Taxes, consulting, accounting, and the long term leasing of automobiles were the leading topics of subsequent lectures. Alongside the lectures,

numerous presentations, contests, and appearances by the Partners, Sponsors, and Exhibitors of the Outsourcing Fair took place.

There were 121 exhibitors in this year’s fair, more than 20 more than a year ago. The biggest group was composed of consulting, financial, and IT companies. The Call Contact Centre industry was also strongly represented, including by such organisations as Transcom, Telmon, Unicall, and CCIG. Aside from service companies, there were also technology providers, and the providers of modern ICT solutions offered by such companies as, for example, Axium, Alfavox, and Virtual Call Centre. It is worth mentioning that the public sector was also present at the Fair. The representatives of the government of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship, and the cities of Bydgoszcz, Toruń, and Łódź presented investment offers and presented their cities and regions as attractive locations for the placement of the operations centres of outsourcing companies.

On Thursday, the pace of the Fair picked up, and were the most active on the second day. The Fair’s visitors were composed of several groups. A strong group was composed of persons that were interested in specific services and who approached those exhibitors that offered the solutions that they were looking for. A second group was composed of outsourcing companies that did not decide to participate in the fair, but came to see how the event was organised and to have a look at the competition. The third group was composed of students, who visited the Fair in large numbers and were interested in speaking with the exhibitors about modern business services. The two days of the Fair saw more than 1000 visitors, dozens of meetings, discussions, and new business relationships. The Fair was broadcast live on OutsourcingPortal and this broadcast had several hundred hits.

The business relationships established during the Outsourcing Fair as well as the business cards that were collected will effectively supplement the sales and operating activities of many of the exhibitors at this event over the next several months. The next edition of the Fair will be in one year, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for it to take place.
