Gangster warfare in New York - Dandy Dan's hoodlums terrorise the district, his rival is Fat Sam Stacetto, who runs the Grand Slam Speakeasy. Fat Sam engages the help of Bugsy Malone, a smooth city slicker who is often occupied sweet talking Blousey Brown, a would be girl singer. With Bugsy's help, Fat Sam escapes from a frame up but he learns later that Dandy Dan's mob have splurged nearly all his gang. They've also destroyed his sarsparilla and grocery rackets the whole empire's gone! There's only one hope left. Fat Sam pays Bugsy 400 dollars in exchange for more help. Bugsy and Leroy Smith, a guy with an awesome punch, witness a secret delivery of splurge guns at Dock 17. This is an amateur production.

Madama Butterfly

We are delighted to present to you this Opera theatre from the Ukraine. Dnipro Opera has a long-standing heritage of top-quality opera productions, that we are now looking forward to premier in the UK and present to you, the opera lovers.

No opera can match the tragedy and sorrow of Puccini's Madama Butterfly.

Set in Japan at the turn of the last century, it is the story of a doomed love affair between an American naval officer and his young Japanese bride whose self-sacrifice and defiance of her family leads to tragedy.

Though infinitely sad and tragic, the compelling tale of Madama Butterfly remained Puccini's favourite opera - his supreme theatrical achievements also gave the world its most sublime and beautiful arias in history - One Fine Day and Love Duet, as well as the Humming Chorus which has been popular with operagoers for over a century.

ACCESS INFORMATION

Grove Theatre has level access into the building and all levels are accessible via a lift. There are wheelchair accessible seats in both the Stalls and Circle. To book a wheelchair accessible seat, please contact the Box Office. These seats are not suitable for mobility scooters. If you have an exceptionally large and/or specialist wheelchair, please contact the Box Office for advice on the best seating areas available. Not all of our seating will be suitable for all access needs, if you have trouble with steps, require wheelchair access or need assistance, please contact our Box Office prior to your visit.

Disabled parking spaces are available directly behind the theatre.

An infra-red hearing system operates in the auditorium. Headsets are available from the Box Office. To ensure you book seats with optimum coverage, please contact the Box Office at the time of booking.

Assistance dogs are welcome in the auditorium. Please advise the Box Office when booking so suitable seating can be allocated.

CONDITIONS OF SALE

Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded once purchased. For sold out shows, the Box Office will accept returned tickets for re-sale for an administration charge of £2.50 per ticket.

For family shows and film, children under the age of 18 months will be issued with a free Babes in Arms ticket if they do not require their own seat.

Only food and drink purchased at the theatre can be consumed on the premises.

Please note we are a cashless venue and only able to take card payments for Box Office, Bar, Kiosk and in-house Merchandise sales. Some visiting companies selling their own merchandise may only accept cash payments. We encourage all visiting companies to take card payments but this may not always be possible.

Pushchairs and baby carriers are not permitted in the auditorium.

Customers displaying disruptive and/or anti-social behaviour within the venue will be asked to leave.
