What New Jersey's New Greenhouse Goal Means for Solar Installation Leads
The state of New Jersey is getting ready to make big strides toward cleaner energy. Back in November, Governor Phil Murphy signed a new executive order filled with directives to support the goal of attaining an 80% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Murphy’s order has set a preliminary goal to be accomplished in the meantime: by 2030, the state should achieve a 50% reduction below levels recorded in 2006. Setting this new benchmark will help get things on track for the ultimate objective, establishing enough progress for the remaining 20 years to unfold smoothly.
