To me the human form in motion is one of the purest expressions of art

The Papillon Dance Academy

The aim of The Papillon Dance Academy is to teach classical dance, ballet being the embodiment of this in terms of performance. One of the objectives of The Papillon Dance Academy is to reach out to people within the local community giving them the opportunity to become proﬁcient in the art form of dance.

Children are invited to join from the age of two years old and upwards with the hope that thereafter we will be able to nurture the talent they may have, thereby enabling them to go on and achieve higher levels of proﬁciency.

Through the learning of classical dance technique we hope to imbue the student with a natural sense of grace and confidence, the prerequisite for artistic self expression in dance. Should students choose to participate in the Royal Academy of Dance examinations, this may conclude in taking them to the next level of development, and if appropriate, accrediting the student with a certificate of excellence in acknowledgement of their learning and achievement in the field of classical dance. There will of course be the opportunity for the students to perform a role in the school ballet, attended by their parents. I invite you to embrace this art form in the firm belief that it will enrich your life, as it has mine.
