GPI Announces New Hires
Robyn Cierniak, CPESC has recently been hired as a Project Manager in the firm's Western New York branch. An environmental engineer with more than 20 years of experience, Robyn is adept in guiding all aspects of planning and design for both public and private Robyn Cierniak, clients. Her experience encompasses CPESC the development of site/civil engineering design documents and reports, stormwater management systems and utility planning, SEQR process completion, presentations to municipal boards, and regulatory review agencies for approval. She will be a key member of the land planning department working from our Buffalo office.
Danilo Diaz has joined the structural condition inspection team as an Assistant Team Leader (ATL) Trainee. Throughout his training, he will split his time shadowing and assisting overhead sign structure inspection teams and Danilo Diaz participating in independent study to learn the art and science of structural condition inspection. Upon completion of this program, Danilo will meet the NYSDOT qualifications for an Assistant Team Leader in their overhead sign structure
inspection program. Danilo holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He will work from our Rochester office. We are also pleased to have two engineering interns join our team.

Jonathan Wardner
Jemishaw Pierre-Lewis is a civil engineering technology undergraduate student at Rochester Institute of Technology. She joins us for a double block co-op position through the summer and fall of 2020 supporting our roadway/highway engineering team, and work from our Rochester office. Jonathan Wardner is currently a graduate student at University at Buffalo (UB) where he will earn a master’s degree in civil engineering. His area of focus is in structural and earthquake engineering. Jon will provide support to GPI’s bridge design group, working from our Buffalo office. q

Foit-Albert Associates Announces New Vice President and Expanded Services Foit-Albert Associates, Architecture, Engineering and Surveying, PC announced the addition of Andrew Andrew S. S. Taylor, PE, FPE Taylor, PE as vice president of the newly formed building systems engineering division at the firm. Mr. Taylor has worked in the industry for nearly 30 years and will be responsible for growing the new building systems engineering group. Mr. Taylor, who most recently managed the piping, plumbing and fire protection services department at Erdman Anthony, earned a BS in mechanical engineering technology from Rochester Institute of Technology, and holds professional engineering licenses in both mechanical and fire protection disciplines.
