Flamenco Fire’s Gypsy Pathways distils from eight centuries of tradition a compelling, passionate, and vibrant show that captures all of the excitement and drama of this part of the great Romani story. Gypsy Pathways is the next chapter in the Flamenco story – a story that Director/Composer/ Guitarist Andrew Veivers has been exploring through the Flamenco Fire Company over the last 13 years. ARGUABLY, the most important and valuable Australian postage stamps are the ‘Kangaroo on map of Australia’, known as the ‘Roo’ stamps and the ‘King George V’ stamps, commonly known as the ‘KGV’ stamps. The ‘Roo’ stamps are the first Australian stamps issued by Australia Post from January 1913 up to about 1934. The stamps ranged in value from 1/2 d (halfpenny) up to the high value of £2. Depending on condition, these are the most valuable stamps issued in Australia. The King George V stamps were issued by Australia Post from 1913
up to 1936. These stamps had denominations from 1/2d (halfpenny) up to one shilling and fourpence. Again, depending on condition, these stamps can be worth a lot of money. In February 2007, the Arthur Gray Collection of Australian Kangaroo and Map series Postage Stamps were sold in New York for over 7 million Australian dollars. More recently, in November 2012, the ‘Morgan’ collection, which was strong in ‘Roo’ stamps achieved record prices and the Stuart Hardy auction of ‘KGV’ stamps also achieved record prices, both grossed in the mil-
