MUTIPURPOSE BUILDING | HOTEL + COMMERCIAL SPACE
Location : Pattom, Trivandrum
Year : 2019 - 2020
Category : Multipurpose building
The objective was to design a multi - story building with both commercial space and a four-star hotel. The site is located with in the heart of Trivandrum city (pattom). The site has significant economic importance. The building is divided into two segments to accommodate hotel and commercial needs. Vehicle circulation has been set up on the site so that way that no traffic congestion are generated. To deal with the concept of permiability, the structure has been constructed using voids and solids. The structure houses a hypermarket, retail stores, dining establishments, cafes, lounges, a conference room, a banquet hall, and 60 hotel rooms.

FLOATING HOUSE | RESIDENCE
Location : Kakkanad, Ernakulam
Year : 2018 - 2019
Category : Residence
The objective was to design a site responsive structure. The design has not only concentrated on the visual aesthetics but also functional, comfortable, and efficient in its use of recourses. Moreover the structure has been developed, so that less vegetation is destroyed by providing cantilevered structure. Also natural light has been efficiently used to light up the structure. Also the residence has been designed in such away that the residents are visually accessible to all spaces without compromising the privacy.

TRANSIT HUB | KALLAMBALAM URABAN STUDY
Location : Kollam, Kallambalam
Year : 2021 - 2022
Urban design
Category : Transpotation hub
Our urban design project in Kallambalam revolves around the essential factors of hydrology and ecology. As a group, we studied the area to gain a deeper understanding of how it functions in terms of natural resources and sustainability. We believe that these two aspects are vital in the creation of a livable and functional urban environment. Our objective was to develop an urban design proposal that would contribute to the community's well-being while maintaining the ecological balance. Our project focused on the proper management of the water resources and its impact on the ecology of the area. Through our work, we aim to provide a more sustainable and responsible approach to urban design in Kallambalam.

The major water flow is concentrated towards the farmlands. The clayey soil at this region retains the water and creates a sensitive region.
Percolation rate and soiltype
Clayey soil
Increase Loamy soil
Laterite soil
Stream and paddy field results in clayey soil at the northern region of deliniated area. These directly influence the ground water table of the region, since percolation rate is low.
Watertable depth
16 - 20 m
13 - 16 m
11 - 13 m
8 - 11 m
6 - 8 m
The land surrounding stream has the highest ground water table. The average depth of water sources like well are 7m.
Soil map Buildings and roads overlayed with groundwater table map
local road buildings
With respect to ground water table, the building density and road density at the northern region is comparitatively less.
Inference
- The ORR has been proposed through the farmlands that obstruction the natural drain - Hardscapes should be reduced in the future development process.
- Flood resilient buildings should be encouraged in strech of outer ring road.
- Building should be oriented in such a way that it does not affect the natural drain.
- The lowest region in the farmlands can be consider as a primary collecting region.
