This summer class is for artists and non-artists alike, no experience or prior art classes are necessary! Our processoriented class emphasizes making independent choices, allowing campers to develop their own style and ideas while exploring different mediums, styles, and artists in a safe and flexible environment. Campers willhave the opportunity to work with collage, printmaking, bead making, stamp making, stencil work using gel plates, and a class favorite, paint pouring. laid back and there is a great balance of challenges and fun. This camp will show players a workout that is designed to be implemented 3-4 times per week. BASKETBALL CAMP GRADES 5-9
Our Basketball Camp is based on a few simple philosophies. We believeathletesshouldenjoyalotofgameplay—eachcamperhas threeleaguegamesperday.Studentsneedtohaveabasketballin their hands frequently—our campers have two sessions of ball handling and dribble-move work daily. Campers will receive focused daily instruction on two major fundamentals, rather than scratchingthesurfacewithmultiplefundamentals,tocreatemore positive results. BIKING & RECREATIONAL SWIMMING–ALL SKILL LEVELS GRADES 1-6
Ready to improve your biking skills? Beginner or intermediate cyclists are welcome. We will divide campers into appropriate groups depending on your skill level. This camp will teach you skills above your current level as we ride on paths around Greenhill’s 78-acre campus and Addison trails in the surrounding area. Each day we will take time to cool off and have fun in our indoorpool.Flotationbelts willbeprovided for studentsunableto swim 25 yards. We will work to improve our stopping, turning, braking, balance, and riding skills. Campers will need a bike and helmet, water bottle, snack, swimsuit, optional goggles, and a towel. Bikes will be locked each day and stored on campus. We encouragebeginnercampers tocomewithout training wheels.

Calling all students in grades 5–12! Step Into the Spotlight: Greenhill's Summer Performance Academy Presents Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids. Specially adapted from the classic Disney animated film, this musical features a host of colorful characters and your favorite songs from the movie. A human child named Mowgli and his panther friend, Bagheera, travel through the jungle and meet a sinister snake named Kaa, a herd of elephants,anda giant bear named Baloo, whoteaches
them the swingin' musical rhythms of the jungle. In addition to rehearsing and producing The Jungle Book Kids, SPAA is a place to collaborate, grow, and have fun. Can baby chicks breathe inside the egg? What is an incubator? What is an egg tooth? You will trace the egg from the farmtoyourkitchentableusinghands-onactivities,crafts,games, and experiments. YOGA AND MEDITATION GRADES 4-8
Yoga and Meditation is designed to help each practitioner understand the direct relationship to health and exercise through the whole body and mind, while collectively zoning in on their artistic side. This beginner class will establish a solid foundation for the practice of yoga and instill confidence through artistic practice. Campers will practice physical poses (asanas) and meditative movement, and then later take that focus obtained through yoga and apply it to their art. We will practice yoga salutations to increase heart rate and then cool down through gentle counter balancing stretches to build strength and flexibility. This class will aim to promote inner calm and focus, whileprovidingasafehaventorelaxand havefun!
