First Stage -Height Bar Test

Candidates will be called for the height bar test in which the candidate's height will be measured and checked with the standard height bar chart as prescribed by the authorities.

Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

PET includes a Height Bar Test in which you need to go through the Height bar if your height is any lesser, you will get eliminated.

Physical Standard Test (PST) o

Once you qualify PET, you will be screened for Height, Chest & Weight by the board of Officers.

o

In case you are not satisfied with your disqualification in PST, you can appeal to the Supervising DIG on the same day, against rejection in physical measurement.

o

Relaxation in PST will be considered only according to government orders issued from time to time.

o

The Written Test will be the Computer-based Test for a duration of two hours.

Second Stage - Written Examination

The question paper will be set in bilingual (English/Hindi).

There will be 100 questions and they will carry one mark each.

Third Stage- Skill Test (Typewriting) Candidates who will qualify the written test will be eligible for the third stage that is the Skill Test. Selected candidates will be further called for the Typing test round. The test will be held to examine the typing speed and accuracy of the candidates.

Fourth Stag- Documentation o o o

Candidates must bring original documents as mentioned by the authorities.

Disqualification of candidates will be done if they fail to present original documents at this stage.

No candidates will be allowed provisionally.

Fifth Stage - Medical Examination o

Once candidates clear all the stages of the selection process then he/she will be shortlisted in the Final Merit List and will be called further for Medical Examination.
