CONDITIONS OF SALE

SALES BY LOT: Unless otherwise announced by the auctioneer at the time of the sale, all items are offered per lot as numbered.

BIDDING: When bidding on an item, raise the bid paddle with your number plainly visible to auctioneer. In the event of doubt on the part of the auctioneer as the validity of the bid the auctioneer will have sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the lot in question, if any dispute arises after the sale. The Tree House sales records and invoices shall be conclusive in all respect.

WITHDRAWAL-REJECTION OF BIDS: The Tree House reserves the right to withdraw any item at any time before the actual sale. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid. If the auctioneer determines that any bid is not commensurate with the value of the items offered, he may reject the bid and withdraw the item from the sale. If having acknowledged any bids, he decides that a bid or advance thereafter is not sufficient magnitude, he may reject the advance and the earlier bids and either withdraw the item from sale or re-offer it for sale.

SALE: On the fall of the auctioneer’s gavel, the highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer and shall agree to purchase the lot in accordance with these conditions, and to pay the full purchase price for the lot. All other items sold at either auction shall not pass until payment has been made. At which point the buyer shall have full responsibility for and bear the risk of loss to the lots.

PAYMENT: Payment in full for all items purchased is due on the day of and at the auction site by cash, check or credit card. Checks should be made payable to The Tree House, Inc.

SILENT

AUCTION:

Our Silent Auction includes a wonderful selection of prizes for the discriminating bidder. Bidders may bid using their mobile devices. The highest bid enters via mobile bidding at the time the Silent Auction closes or when an individual lot is closed will be the successful winner. Payment in full for all Silent Auction items purchased is due on the day of the auction at the auction site by cash, check or credit card. *No monies will be taken until the Auction ends.

BUYERS ARRANGEMENTS: Certain items to be offered for the auction at the Live and Silent Auction consist of services, such as travel and lodging packages, restaurant meals or special services to be provided by donors and are subject to conditions or require specific arrangements be made with the donor before they can be used. The Buyer shall be solely responsible for complying with any conditions or for making such arrangements.

In accordance with IRS requirements relating to the Disclosure of Charitable Deduction amount, the estimated retail value of this event is $47 per person. The balance of the cost of your admission tickets is deductible as a charitable contribution. Additionally, the estimated value of each package will be printed on the information sheet.
