IMPACT REPORT 2022 MIDVALE

Our mission is to inspire and empower youth to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. We serve kids at 7 locations in Salt Lake, Tooele and Carbon County. Boys & Girls Clubs give kids opportunities to succeed through programs that truly impact their lives. We help Club members: Graduate from high school on time with a plan for the future, engage in healthy behaviors and becoming fit for life, and develop strong character and become engaged citizens.

443 YOUTH SERVED IN 2022

30% INCREASE FROM 2021

Yoaltici was selected as the 2023 Greater Salt Lake Youth of the Year. She shared her story about the effect having an incarcerated parent had on her mental health. She has worked hard to recognize the changes she could make on her own and how to ask for help. Now she is a respected leader in her Club, and on track to graduate and pursue her goals to become a lawyer so she can help others.

IMPACTFUL MOMENTS & EVENTS

The teen center received a space makeover, and gave their input to design their space. Additionally, Club staff put an emphasis on teaching SEL skills to youth in both programs. Those skills are, Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills & Responsible
