Our Story
The Hub on Verulam opened it’s doors in June 2022, after a year-long refurbishment carried out by local owners Alex Addison & Hannah Petrouis. The building is steeped in history and character, with low hanging beams and industrial features throughout, a nod to it’s previous use as carriage storage and stable-hands accommodation for wealthy travellers from London.
The 6000sq.ft space now encompasses a multitude of offerings, including 2 state-of-the-art screening rooms, an open kitchen, indoor bar, outdoor bar, co-working space and workshop area. At it’s core, the concept is designed to bring the community together, on many different days for many different reasons.

Celebrate a milestone for your business, announce a new launch or network with the wow-factor. Our spacious venue provides the perfect setting for any corporate event. The Terrace and Box screening rooms are set up with the highest quality presentation screens, with surround dolby atmos sound and the facility to order tea and coffee to your seat.
Our DDR is designed to meet all of your requirements, however if you’re looking for something unique, please don’t hesitate to ask and our skilled events team are happy will be happy to assist.

Celebratory Events
The Hub on Verulam offers a wide variety of corporate party & networking event options. Whether it be a product launch, company anniversary celebration or the office Christmas party, we will work with you to ensure all of your needs and requirements are met.
Our buffet menus are designed with the foodie in mind, with a variety of vegetarian, vegan and meat options available. Alternatively, our grazing table & cake of cheese, provide the true wow-factor as guests arrive at your event. If your requirements are a little more bespoke, don’t hesitate to speak with one of our team, as we do enjoy getting creative.

The Mezzanine

The Terrace

The Terrace has been kitted out to the highest AV specification. With comfortable tiered seating, built in oak dining trays and state of the art equipment. Suitable for sports & movie screenings, corporate presentations or workshops.

The Box & Box Bar
Maximum capacity : 17 seated
(The Box Bar is suitable for a maximum of 14 guests standing)
With a luxurious & intimate atmosphere, The Box houses a 120inch, short throw projection screen, state of the art audio equipment, comfortable sofa seating & art deco design features. The adjoining private bar allows guests to enjoy pre-screening, interval or half time drinks and nibbles. Suitable for sports & movie screenings, corporate presentations or workshops.

The Yard & Bar
Maximum capacity : 60 standing
The Yard transforms from day to night, with greenery filled planters, a ship sail covering, festoon lighting & eco firepits. There is no better location for an outdoor event.

The Open Kitchen
Maximum capacity : 58 seated
Our restaurant space seats up to 44 when hired individually and is suitable for a seated breakfast, lunch, dinner or buffet style events. When hired exclusively with the rest of the building, we are able to incorporate tables from the Mezzanine to seat a further 14 guests, 58 in total.
