Big Shoutout to Hayden Garner!

“A huge thank you to Hayden Garner for always showing up and supporting Club Al Access. On Monday, July 28th, Hayden took the time to fire up the grill and cook o for both Club All-Access and the Grapevine Fire and Police Departments. We’re incredibly grateful to have someone we can always count on.”

Thanks to the amazing Events Team!

“Christmas in July at Pleasant Glade Pool wouldn’t have been the same without our amazing Events and Hospitality team! Heartfelt thanks to Arianna, Ava, Stephen, Brooke, Hayden, and the entire team for hauling decorations, setting up, making everything so festive, dancing, grilling, and MORE! You brought the details, the energy, and the Christmas Capital VIBE! We appreciate you!”

Big Shoutout to Nathalie Mason!

“I’d like to give a shout out to Nathalie Mason. She worked extremely hard when we asked her to move over to Lake Parks for a month while James was off. She showed up with them and took on new challenges and really impressed with her ability to adjust to a different crew and a different environment. I am really proud of how she performed and for having a great attitude.”

Big Shoutout to Cindy and Kristen!

“Fantastic job to Cindy and Kristen for planning and executing another “Happy to Help clean up event” this summer! They had 55 volunteers join forces to clean up the shoreline at Grapevine Lake! Thank you both for your amazing work and for hosting initiatives that help keep our community beautiful!”

Community Events Team

Bringing people together is at the heart of what the Community Events Division does, and with Arianna Such stepping into her new role as Event Production Manager, the tradition of excellence continues strong. Arianna has embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, supported by a dedicated team and the input of Brooke Hubbard, whose leadership played a major role in ensuring a smooth transition.

The division consists of Brooke, Stephen, Denesha, and Cindy, each playing a crucial role in ensuring events run smoothly and spaces feel inviting. They handle everything from daily outreach to planning major community gatherings, making sure locations like The Vine Arts & Events Center and the Park Pavilions are prepared to host a variety of events, including birthday parties, baby showers, and city-wide celebrations.

Recently, the team pulled off a record-breaking attendance for the beloved Paws & Pastries event, showcasing their knack for creating experiences that the community truly loves. And of course, one of their proudest annual accomplishments remains Carol of Lights, a hallmark Grapevine tradition that brings the whole city together. Both Events require coordination across departments, and the Community Events team leads the charge with thoughtful precision and creative flair.

In addition to hosting their own events, the team supports other departments with facility reservations, volunteer scheduling, and setup assistance. With Stephen’s steady leadership and the team’s collaborative spirit, every project is a success story.

Whether it’s transforming everyday spaces or making signature events, even more memorable, the Community Events team embodies the spirit of service, celebration, and community

FAVORITE CLASS

CAMPCOLEMAN

Megan Holladay (7 years) and Andrea Tredaway (2 years) are both early risers who regularly attend the 5:30 AM Camp Coleman class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at The REC—taught by none other than Larry Coleman.

For them, it’s the ultimate way to kick-start the day. Every class brings something new and challenging, but it’s the strong sense of community that keeps them coming back. They both agree, it’s one of their favorite things about Grapevine.
