Swim Evaluations

Get proper placement in the Learn to Swim classes with a free evaluation. M - Th 12:30 p.m.- 1:00p.m.

Learn To Swim Program

AGES: 6 months - 3 years

First Splash

This class teaches water confidence and safety skills important for this age group. Both parent and child are in the water for this class. 30-minute AGES: 3-5

Preschool 1 - Beginner

Beginner level that focuses on floats and streamline. 30 min.

Preschool 2 - Skill Introduction

The goal is to begin to develop freestyle and elementary backstroke. Streamline on front and back independently is required before entering P2. 30 min. AGES: 6-12

Youth 1 - Beginner

The goal is to help children become comfortable and introduce them to swimming independently with front and back streamline skills. 30 min.

Youth 2 - Skill Introduction

Swimmers start to learn freestyle and backstroke. Streamlining on front and back independently is required before entering Y2. 30 min.

Youth 3 - Primary Skills

The goal is to develop primary strokes. Students must be able to swim freestyle and backstroke before entering Y3. 30 min.

Youth 4 - Skill Development

The goal is the advancement of primary stroke coordination. Students must be able to swim freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke before entering Y4. 30 min. AGES: 13 & up

Adult Beginner

This class is for first-time, nervous and beginner swimmers. 30 min.

Specialty Classes Assigned Private Lessons

Private lessons are for all ages and swimming levels. “Assigned” means the times and Instructors are already scheduled with concurrent group lesson sessions. Lessons are tailored specifically for each person’s own skill level and ability. 30 min. Swim Lesson Session Dates

Registration is first come first serve at the Kirby Creek Natatorium. Register early due to limited enrollment in each class. There is no guarantee of availability from session to session.

Swim Lesson Refund Policy

Due to limited class sizes, participants must be withdrawn from the class 5 days prior to the class start date to receive a refund without a doctor’s note. If minimum class size is not met, a full refund will be issued. If class is cancelled due to weather or other circumstances and cannot be made up, participants will receive a credit or refund for the amount of classes missed. AGES: 5+ May 2 – July 28 (Last Day to Register: May 27) The main goal of Splash is to provide a competitive swim team environment that builds self-confidence and skills for swimmers of all ages. Splash is affiliated with the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (T.A.A.F.) and we compete in local T.A.A.F. swim meets. Fee: $200 (includes a latex swim cap and shirt. Open Swim Parties

Open Swim Parties are during open swim hours on Saturdays. Cost includes up to 25 swimmers, lifeguards and reserved tables. Schedule reservations in person at Kirby Creek on a first come, first serve basis. Check for availability at 972-237-4170.

Private Parties

Lap Swim

Visit the Kirby Creek Natatorium for a great workout or just to relax your muscles in our 25-meter heated indoor pool. Swim, walk or float to tone and strengthen your body. Fee: $2 Days Time M-Th 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. F-Sat 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Daily Open Swim

Enjoy the indoor pool with your friends and family. Lifeguards are on duty at all times to assist you with your needs. A limited amount of life jackets are available to use and are encouraged for all non-swimmers.

Kirby Creek Natatorium

Fee: $2 Days Times M-Th 1:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. F 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sat 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. All outdoor pools open for the summer on Memorial Day Weekend. Pools are subject to close early due to weather or low attendance. Pools will be closed M-F once GPISD begin classes (August 15) and will only be open Sat. & Sun. Pools will close at the end of day Labor Day (September 5).
