Texas Plan

Access to our game room and basketball court is included in the Texas Plan. The Texas Plan membership also gives you the ability to register for classes as well as access to the Charley Taylor and Dalworth Recreation Centers. Youth (6-15) $7/year Adult (16+) $12/year

Prairie Plan

The Prairie Plan gives access to the same amenities as the Texas Plan, but you also can gain entry to our fitness center which includes: ellipticals, stair masters, treadmills, resistance cable machines and free weights. Monthly Adult (16+)

Youth Programs

After School Program

Ages: 6-12. Tony Shotwell Life Center offers after school care to students at Garcia Elementary. We pick up the students, provide homework help, offer crafts, games, and experiments. Registration $10 | $25/week Days Time School days 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.

Wacky Scientist

Ages: 6-12. Learning science can be fun, and the Wacky Scientist Class does just that. We will scientifically explore chemical reaction through simple STEM projects. $5/class Days Time 1st Tues 5:30 – 6:50 p.m.

Ballet, Tap and Jazz

Ages: 5-12. Learn the fundamentals of ballet and modern dance. $50/month Day Dates Time Sat continuous 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Shotwell Chefs

Ages: 9-15. Learn how to cook common favorite foods from scratch! From pancakes to chicken nuggets nothing prepared in this class comes from a box. $5/class Day Start Date Time 1st Wed 1/5 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Spyda’s World Academy Basketball Clinic

Breakpoint Volleyball Clinic

Ages: 10-15. Coach Teresa will help you raise your volleyball game to the next level with this monthly in-depth volleyball clinic. $25/session Last Saturday of the month

Abs and Buns Boot Camp

Ages: 16+. If you are looking for a class to tone your tummy and work your glutes, look no further than the Abs and Buns Boot Camp class. $35/month Starts in March Day Dates Time M-Th continuous 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Intro to Crochet

Ages 16+. Crocheting is not only for creating home made scarves and sweaters, it also decreases stress, anxiety and aids in mindful breathing. In this class you will chain, single crochet and double treble your way to a real garment and healthy mindset all at once. $20/month Day Dates Time Th continuous 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Intro to Photography

Ages :16+. Learn how to get out of auto mode on the camera you got for Christmas! We will discuss exposure, proper composition and how shape light to give your images depth like a pro. $20/month Day Dates Time Th continuous 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Table Tennis

Ages: 16+. Calling all table tennis players. From beginners to Olympic level players, we are looking to turn Tony Shotwell Life Center into a table tennis hang out. Free with Membership Day Dates Time T continuous 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

SUMMER CAMP

Ages 6 - 15. Summer is “funner” at Tony Shotwell Life Center! We have crafts, games and experiments daily but also field trips once a week including Epic Waters, Main Event and much more! Camp begins June 6. Registration: $27 Opens April 1 Weekly Fee: $100 for Grand Prairie Residents

PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT

May 26 | 4:00 p.m. On the last day of school, swing by Tony Shotwell Life Center and join in the fun! We’ll have free food and games to start the Summer Break right!
