To Recycle or Trash? GROUNDS INFORMATION! We are working hard to make the gramercy villas property look its best. We have put new landscaping rock in the planter beds and are working to get grass growing in a few bare areas. We need your help to get these areas of bare ground filled in. Please do not walk through or allow pets on the areas that are staked off. The new grass has to be given a chance to mature before people and animals can be walking on it. Additionally, please DO NOT allow animals to use this area to do their business. It will kill the immature grass. For this reason, we feel the need to remind all residents that dogs must be on a leash when outside of the apartment (as per city code, CCR’s and the lease agreement). Lease violations will be issued for noncompliance. Please help us to make Gramercy Villas the best apartment location in Meridian. Thank you in advance!

There are many times that the trash dumpsters are overflowing with trash, yet the dumpsters have many items in them that should be recycled. This is not only to help our environment, but also to allow plenty of room for all of the items that DO belong in the trash. The following items are recyclable and should be placed in the recycling dumpster, not the trash: Cardboard boxes - This means not only moving boxes, but also shoe boxes, cereal and cracker boxes and egg cartons – Please break these down flat and remove plastic (if they have it) prior to placing in the recycle bin. Aluminum and aerosol (empty) cans Glass bottles and jars Plastic bottles, jugs, and bags Soft cover catalogs, telephone books and newspapers Remember to never throw TV’s or computer monitors in the trash or recycling bins. These need to be disposed of at a local hazardous waste collection site, along with batteries, chemicals, old medications, and used oil.

COMING SOON – DEBIT AND CREDIT PAYMENTS ON THE PORTAL! We are always looking for ways to make your residency here at Gramercy Villas an outstanding experience. That being said, we are working to make paying your rent easier than ever before. Coming in the next couple of months, we will have a new option available for rents, deposits, or fees through the Resident Portal which will allow payment with a Visa or MasterCard Debit or Credit card. There will be an additional processing fee to our residents each time they choose this method of payment; however, this new feature will give our residents more options for making their payment each month. The e-check feature will still be available and there will be no changes to this service. And as always, we accept cashier’s checks, money orders, and personal checks. We will make sure to give our residents plenty of notice as to when this service is activated on the portal, so residents have time to change their method of payments if they chose to do so and already have an e-payment set up. If you have any questions on these new options, please be sure to contact the leasing office.

Rent Payments Made Easy!

Father’s Day June 18, 2017

We have a great tool available to our residents to make paying rent and communicating with our staff as easy as logging on to your computer. The RESIDENT PORTAL is available to all of our residents who have provided us with a valid email address. Once you are logged on, you can make a one-time payment, set up monthly auto-payments for rent, submit a maintenance request, or email our leasing staff. If you aren’t active on the portal and would like to have this set up, please give the leasing office a call and we can get you set up to start using the portal today.

SLOW DRAINS? One of the more frequent maintenance calls we receive is for a slow drain, either in a tub or in a bathroom sink. Most times, this is due to a build-up of hair and other items such as razor lids and hair ties going down the drains. This is an avoidable maintenance call, and therefore is a resident charge when maintenance is called to clear the drains. To avoid these calls, be sure to avoid having items like hair ties and clips go into the drains. Also, you can regularly clear any hair that does get into the drain with a “drain rooter”. They are sold at many places, including the dollar stores, and when used regularly, will keep drains from getting clogged with hair. We certainly don’t mind having maintenance clear the drains for you, but it is a resident charge that often times, can be avoided.
