Members Christmas party

We welcomed members and guests to the last collegiate event for 2021, the Members’ Christmas party, on Friday, 10th of December, held in the combined Stillwell and Ian Potter meeting rooms. The party venue was decorated with colourful Christmas trimmings, with each table having a beautiful poinsetta as centrepiece and bonbons for every seat. Taking centre stage on the floor was the Christmas tree adorned with ornaments, ribbons and blue lights. Members and guests started arriving from 5.30pm onwards and were greeted with drinks and canapés in the Phillip Law Members’ Lounge. Santa arrived on time and as always, didn’t disappoint, providing an unending supply of lollies and sweets. Entreés were served when everyone was seated and dinner followed soon after. The highlight for the evening was special guest singer, Ms Stephanie Angelini who delighted the crowd with Christmas songs, singing intermittently in between meal courses and belting out many popular songs. Members enjoyed a free flow of tea and coffee with their dessert and many remained after dinner to savour the Christmas atmosphere. When Stephanie took the microphone again with more upbeat tempo songs, the room was instantly transformed into a dance floor with members and their guests grooving to the music.
