Events in December 2021

Carlton Primary School Graduation

The 2021 Grade 6 students from Carlton Primary school convened on Wednesday, 15th December at Graduate House to celebrate their end-of-primary school days. Together with their teachers and families, the 64 students attended the Graduation ceremony which included speeches, presentations, awards, recognition and followed by songs and dances.

The Women’s Forum group

The last forum for 2021 was held on Wednesday, 15th December. As with previous end-of-year forums, the December session does not have a specific topic and the ladies have instead brought along with them their memories, reminiscence and laughters to share. The Women’s Forum will return on 16th February 2022.

Happy Birthday Lyn!

Dr Lynette Martin celebrated her 90th Birthday party on 3rd December, in the combined Stillwell and Ian Potter room. The party was attended by 52 guests. Lyn has been a member of The Graduate Union since 2009 and is a regular patron to our collegiate events, namely the Monthly luncheons and Member Christmas parties. Thank you Lyn for choosing to celebrate your milestone birthday at Graduate House.
