Who is Prosple?

OUR MISSION IS TO HELP EVERY STUDENT GET THE BEST POSSIBLE START TO THEIR CAREER

Prosple is a careers and education technology company that helps students launch incredible careers.

We work with universities, student societies, colleges, industry associations and governments to connect early stage career seekers with job and course opportunities.

Since launching our first product in 2015, we’ve grown to be used by over two million students annually.

What is the Startup Virtual Career Fair 2021?

The Startup Virtual Career Fair is a new initiative to help students and startups connect and interact through concurrent Career Sessions specific to different startup sectors.

Each session is facilitated by Prosple and will have a panel of representatives from different startups answering questions from students.

After the panel session, a couple of startups will be given speaking slots to present a specific topic that can help students jumpstart their career in the industry.

This event is completely free for employers, students, and universities.

How does it work?

STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS OF THE STARTUP VIRTUAL CAREER FAIR

We set up the virtual career fair landing page.

Students register for the session they want to attend.

Students tune into the stream, and listen to talks and ask questions live.

A recording of each stream and access to e-certificates are made available on the virtual career fair landing page.

Frequently asked questions HOW CAN WE ACCESS THE ZOOM ROOM ON EVENT DAY? We will be sending you the link to the Zoom webinar a couple of days before the Career Sessions. You will need to log-in to the session 30-mins before the start of the event

DO WE NEED TO PREPARE A PRESENTATION DURING THE PANEL SESSION? No. It will strictly be a discussion amongst the panelists, revolving around the questions asked by the moderator.

However, if you are one of the two employers who was allotted a speaking slot AFTER the panel discussion, then you should prepare a 15-minute presentation for the audience.

HOW CAN WE GET APPLICATIONS FROM THIS EVENT? You can use the panel sessions and speaking slots to market your company and promote your brand. Then, you can direct interested applicants to your Prosple profile and ask them to apply via your posted job openings. Your profile will also be included in the event landing page with a link to ‘Apply for Jobs’

Frequently asked questions HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS ARE WE EXPECTING TO JOIN THE EVENT? Actual number of participants vary per industry and country. We expect that each employer joining the session do their own promotions. All our partnered universities would be notified about the event to promote to their students too. All participants coming from different universities across the APAC region are welcome to join.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR JOINING THE CAREER SESSION? Employers must submit their profile content (Job Opportunities, Graduate Story, Day In Life Story and Graduate Reviews) prior the event.

HOW MANY PANELISTS WOULD BE THERE PER SESSION? There would be 4-5 Panelists joining the panel session happening in the first part of the session, but there would only be two (2) 15-min speaking slots for the second part of the session.

HOW CAN WE BE PART OF THE SPEAKER SESSION? Joining the speaker session is on a first come first serve basis. However, speakers must submit their profile content with at least 5 graduate reviews prior the event. Failure to accomplish the profile content will rescind their speaker slot to another organisation.
