SEMESTER: 4 DESIGN APPROACH: Vernacular Dwelling
CLIENT: Joe Kingman and Peyton Kelly (Virtual Client) EXISTING LOCATION: Villa Amalina Sentul Bogor
This residence project was assigned on semester 4, with an existing house that takes place in Sentul with joglo form that considers centralized as an important part in the house. With the house size of 20mx20m, I redesigned it to meet the needs of my virtual client and put living room in the central area.
The client for this project is a virtual client from a movie who is a single parent that works as a rugby athlete that has a daughter and a dog. They like to spend time together, inviting guests to their house, watching tv,and playing with their dog. The father always routinely works out in the gym while his daughter who is a ballerina student always takes her time to practice
I designed a lot of opening in this house to maximize natural light and airflow In this house there is one living room, one entertainment room, two bedroom with walk in closet in each bedroom and join ensuite, a gym and a ballet room, kitchen with dining room, butler’s pantry, butler’s room, and toilet.
EXTERIOR FRONT EXTERIOR BACKI designed this living room with a semi outdoor concept, to aims an impression of being in nature and while the daughter and the dog playing in this area, the father can still be watching them. Beside the living room, there are a gym and a ballet room that are joined together but can be separated with a glass sliding door. In the living room, I designed built in glass shelves and in the entertainment room, I also designed built in wood shelves to display all the client trophies from winning the rugby tournament
The ensuite is connected to two bedroom (the father and the daughter bedroom), the lavatory area in the hallway connects two bedrooms and each of them have a separate bathroom.in each bathroom I put skylight and a big smart window as an access for natural light.
In the kitchen, I designed a hidden door as a cabinet door to access the butler’s pantry and the butler’s room.
Pak Cak Man is a meatball Malang specialist in Kota Malang which has been established in 1980 He started his job as a meatball maker and a meatball peddler until he opens his own business which is now known as
Inspired by pak Cak Man journey, I created a designed concept “Jalan”(“Journey”) and use narrative as a design approach.
Starting from the entrance, I designed the kitchen wall area with a brick that tells the story of Pak Cak Man when he first started working as a meatball maker. In this area, i also designed the furniture that inspired by “gerobak bakso” .
In the outdoor area, I designed a canopy in the shape of a house, this area tells us when Mr. Cak Man starts working as a meatball peddler from house to house.
The indoor area tells us when Mr. Cak Man's finally succeeded in opening his meatball business.

CLIENT: Mitra Integrasi Komputindo
MIK is an IT company located in an office building in Jakarta. Almost all the workers in IT division prefer to do their job at home and come to the office if needed and some of IT workers usually work in client office and because of this work habit, plenty of workers on MIK don’t recognize each other.
As a response to this problem, I tried to make a collaborative office for a worker in MIK so they can get to know each other and work together 1 1
This design concept has a meaning as “connected to the center”, I poured this concept into the design by placing the focus area on the side and put the collaborative area in the center while it still has a sense of unity
Sustainable design is one of important consideration in designing this office, one of the sustainable materials that I use is bamboo parquet. I also put the work area in the area that gets natural light during the day, this could make the workers being more productive and the office also can save up the electricity usage.

CLIENT: Kita Anak Negeri
LOCATION: Rukan Pesona View Blok J No. 5 6, Jl. IR. Haji Juanda, Sukmajaya, Mekar Jaya, Sukmajaya, Kota Depok
This public Space is a group project in semester 8 with participatory as a design approach. The client is KITA, a music community. This building has three stories, the 1st floor was divided into two zones, the public and the private zone. In the private zone, there are a recording room, drum classes, a storage room, and a kitchen, while in the public zone there are a restaurant, a cashier area, toilets, and pray room (mushola).
In this project, I got a part in designing the kitchen, bathroom, and cashier area and take a part in discussing the zoning and grouping of the 1st floor.
LOCATION: Kp Perigi Rt 08/05 No 6, Desa Lengkong Wetan, Kec Serpong, Lengkong Wetan, Serpong, Kota Tangerang Selatan, Banten 15322
480m2
GBI Perigi was founded in 1992, started with 12 congregations, and now has reached more than 200 congregations. The main problems with this church are the lack of space for church activities, lack of acoustic installations, and irregular zoning grouping arrangements.
for this project, I designed a new exterior building with an existing layout church draft and made minor changes to suit the needs of the church.
The concept of “residing” is created from needs and the problems that are collected. This concept has a meaning as “ being comfortable to settle in a place”. Design elements are applied to meet the design concept that can describe the presence of God who resides in the church so it should be provided with a solemn and comfortable feeling for church members who come to worship.
In the design I used white that represent purity as the main color, light brown to make room feel homey, and grey.
Natural light is used to create an atmosphere in the prayer room. Natural light in the main hall of worship area comes from the crucifix in the pulpit area and in the multipurpose hall, natural light comes from the skylights above the pulpit.
Artificial light are also used in the design to bring out the atmosphere. I used RGB lights that could support the atmosphere of the room during religious celebrations such as Christmas, Easter, etc
This three story house is located in Cikarang area.
on the first floor, there is a car garage, a dirty kitchen, a gym, a laundry room, a housekeeper room, and a storage room.
On the second floor, there are a living room, a dining area, a kitchen, and toilets.
On the third floor which is a private area, there are a study area, a master bedroom with a walk in closet and bathroom, two guest rooms occupied by the client's grandson, and a bathroom in one guest bedroom.
The design house's precedent is the Lloyd's Inn Hotel in Singapore. by providing large window openings, using white as the main color, combined with wood materials in the furniture, as well as plaster floors and gray parquet floors in the bedrooms. the main goal of this house design is to make the room feel spacious and comfortable and also create openings as an access natural light.
In this project I designed the hall, one bedroom with a toilet and one toilet in the hall.
White color with brown accent is the main element in the design of this house so that it can give the impression of a spacious and a comfortable home.
This castle theme bedroom is designed in a monochrome color which is a request from the client, and as the client's daughter would use this room, I put pink as an accent color to bring more feminine feels to the room.
This room is a boy's room. I tried to maximize the storage space in this room so there is still a space that can be used as a play area
In this project, I designed the master bedroom toilet. the theme of the toilet design is equated with the design of the whole house: a modern art deco. This design theme is incorporated with marble patterned tile and I designed the mirror and vanity table in the art deco style.
ABOUT
During my internship, I had the opportunity to design a tourist spot “Holland Farm Village" layout with a size of 3000m2
“Holland Farm Village” is located in Royal Safari Resort Puncak. This place is a tourist spot with a Dutch city design that provides rides, education, and a photo zone.
The client of this project is a student who gets an assignment to open a restaurant as a thesis project. This restaurant provides typical Bugis Toraja seafood.
I designed this restaurant with Toraja batik as an ornament, combined with wood and natural stone materials, and included a pendant lamp as decoration so that the room can give an elegant impression but still have Toraja characteristics.
In 1st floor there are kitchen, a cashier area,a manager office, dining area, and toilet.
In 2nd floor there is dining area, private area, and toilet.
this hangout room is located on the 2nd floor of the client's house. the purpose of this room is as a gathering area with friends, and a study area The client also asked specifically to design a bookcase that can display their book collections and trophies. I also designed a bookcase as a hidden door to the storage room.
In this project, I had the opportunity to help designing beauty bag. This bag uses heat resistant materials, so could be used to store hair straighteners, cosmetic, and other beauty items.
These are all collections of 3D design from freelance projects for babies and kids interior specialist, bonbonhouz Most projects that i got from this freelance were kids bedroom and play area.
This freelance job focuses more on 3D creations, matches the references to the design, and image rendering, while the main design ideas and design references are provided from bonbonhouz.
The first project is the ceiling lamp, that not just have a function as a room lighting but also as an acoustic panel The material that we used for this ceiling lamp is wood, that have a function to absorb sound and the pyramid shape that we used as this light design also function as a reflection of sound and helps its spread.
The second lamp is a decorative chandelier which is also made of wood which is cut and carved into a cylinder as a lamp holder.
These two lamps are a group project, where we form a design concept by brainstorming together. These two lamps are handmade that we make in our university workshop starting from cutting wood, assembling the lamps, to testing installation.
This stacking chair is one of the group projects in semester 11. The process of making this chair begins by collecting the needs of the client, we involve the client in selecting materials, after that we make the design and make the mock ups, then entering the stage of making chairs in the workshop, assisted by experts.
This chair is designed for the music community "KITA". Students, They need a comfortable chair to sit on while performing music so we designed a thick cushion in the seat and the back chair for comfort. This chair use an iron frame and a polyester fabric on its seat so that the bench has a long durability
