How do you Walk Daily with Jesus? How can we walk daily with Jesus? It’s quite simple: we take the steps that He gives us, and He gives us the steps that we need to take. He doesn’t force us to walk, but He leads us. At night we can sleep secure in the knowledge that He is always with us. Walking with Jesus means echoing him in all things: through our actions, our words, and our attitudes. It means walking in step with God, not going our own way. Walking with Jesus means we are never alone, because Jesus is always with us. Walking daily with Jesus is easier said than done. Often, we find ourselves caught up in our everyday struggles, and the only time we have with our saviour is when we pray. We must seek him, set our priorities, and take action. Whether you walk with God daily or you’re trying to make the right choices, you must continue walking in his presence.
Walking With Jesus means Praying Daily Walking with Jesus is walking in the Spirit and speaking to Him as you speak. The Lord is waiting for us to speak with Him. The closer we get to God, the more we become like Him. Walking with Jesus means walking in holiness and speaking in holiness. Walking With Jesus means Praying Daily. Prayer is a relationship. Having a relationship with God brings great blessings. Prayer opens the door to having God’s peace, his love, and his help. Yet the Christians I know who walk closely with Jesus have busy lives. We have marriage problems, children, jobs, and dozens of other responsibilities. Keeping a prayer life is tough But not Impossible
Listen to God Walking with Jesus means slow down and listen to what God is saying to you. It means to completely commit to Him and to His will for your life. It doesn’t mean you don’t make any decisions, but it does mean listening to what He desires for you. Being able to hear God means agreeing with Him on your desires. Walking with Jesus is all about having an intimate relationship with God. God wants to be your Father, and He wants to hear your desires. He wants you to know Him personally and so He will reveal His desires to you, and He wants you to know and understand them.
Be grateful Sometimes life can be hard; the trials, tribulations, and difficulties of this world can push us over the edge. Just when you think you’re about to take that fall, Jesus picks you up and places you upon His shoulders, so you can walk safely through the situations of life. Walk with God and you can be confident that He will never leave you and will never forsake you.
