Introduction
Introducing Bai Jamjuree, a typeface developed by a Thai communication design firm, Cadson Demak. Through their passion for typography and design the founders of Cadson Demak wanted to establish a company that could assist with type development. Specifically, the transition to computerized type. Furthermore, they wanted to make an impact on the communication design world by developing letterforms that were easy for an audience to interpret whilst meeting aesthetic needs of designers. This is evident through their typefaces appearing on items that people encounter daily, from bills, store signs and food packaging. Bai Jamjuree is a prime example of their visual goals for the design industry. The sans serif typeface provides a clean and structural appeal, used for many different graphical elements, from display to body text. Additionally, Demak has developed twelve different font styles, varying from Extra Light to Bold, six in standard san serif font and six in italics. Additionally, Demak have developed Latin and Thai versions of the font, extending the range of their typeface to suit needs of Thedesigners.range of font styles they have created allows designers the opportunity to develop variation within a project and create structural yet visually stimulating designs. This specimen booklet will highlight key features of the typeface as well as showcase the font styles that can be used to serve needs of a client or specific design project.

He Muka was originally a print-based periodical featuring te reo Māori issues using language of a standard to provide an exemplar for advanced learners and fluent speakers. The first issue was published in June 1988. The first colour edition was published in Kōanga 1991. It was a quarterly publication, and until recently was a full colour publication of approximately 16 pages. There was a two year hiatus period of non-publication.
The final issue that was printed was Hōtoke 2015. In 2017 He Muka was revitalised and in December 2017 a digital version of He Muka was launched on the Commission’s website.
