We are thrilled to announce our summer camp schedule for 2024 – it's going to be amazing! With a wide variety of camps, there's something for everyone.

Led by GCA Baseball Coach Brad Myers, this camp is designed for male players who want to improve. Whether a beginner or advanced player, campers will be grouped accordingly and get the best fundamental offensive and defensive instruc possible. Equip your player with the knowledge and skill to ge the next level.

Over the last 29 years, Coach Myers led former teams to region championships, three state finals, and one S Championship in 2012 Over 40 of his past players have gone to play college baseball. Many of his former players will come back to help with this camp. B A S E B A L L C A M

QB/WR Football Camp

QBs and WRs will learn the fundamentals and techniques of both positions as GCA varsity football coaches and current varsity players coach them in individual drills. Throughout June, campers will have the opportunity to progress through 1on1 routes, combo routes, and redzone routes. Join the fun. Go Lions!

Possible challenges include Balloon Racing (action vs. reaction), Float a Boat (density), Egg Drop Challenge (force and momentum), and so much more!

Don't let summer slide happen to YOU! During this camp, campers will work to improve reading and writing proficiency through active participation in engaging strategies and activities. During the week, children will work on improving reading fluency, comprehension, and written expression. Each camper will create their own publication, which they will read aloud to parents during our Writer's Showcase on the last day of camp. The theme for each week varies, so feel free to attend all three camp options for their age.

This opportunity to explore various crafts around the world will give students an adventure into creating their own crafts they can take home. Some of the crafts will include Matryoshka dolls, batik, Japanese origami, Aboriginal art, and much more. Students will explore where the art is from, how God is moving in that land, and how to complete the art project.

Pop Music Camp

Students will have the opportunity to explore, create, arrange, and perform various pop music in this fast-paced camp. Every day, students will learn about an artist, a style, and then have chances to practice and perfect their song for the performance. Advanced Lions Baseball Camp

This camp is designed for the player who aspires to play at the high school and college level. Coach Myers has led teams to ten region championships, three state finals, and one State Championship over the past 29 years. He has worked for MLB International, Don Cooper (White Sox), Team One Showcases, and numerous other clinics across the country. His teams have averaged 22 wins per year during his tenure. He will have college and professional players helping with this camp.

Advanced Boys Soccer Camp

The GCA Boys Advanced Soccer Camp provides an excellent opportunity for Intermediate and Middle School players to develop their skills in a competitive environment. The camp is designed to prepare 5th- 8th graders for the Intermediate and Middle School soccer seasons and give them insight into our High School programs.

"IGNITE" GCA Show Choir Camp

This is a vocal performance camp that “ignites” a love of music and encourages the full expression of each child’s potential for artistic and personal excellence through the collaborative experiences of singing and performing in an ensemble where the fundamentals of choral singing and performance skills are taught while learning original arrangements of contemporary as well as traditional songs.

American Girl Doll Camp

3D Printing and Chemistry Experiments

Jump into the exciting world of 3D printing and how chemistry works. Each day will be filled with opportunities to explore CAD drawings, followed by chemical experiments that dazzle the mind. Students will get to go home with a 3D-printed project and a wealth of knowledge on how basic chemistry works.

Beginner Pickleball Camp

Horsemanship Camp

This camp will allow campers to experience God’s creation from the saddle. Campers will be assigned a horse for the week that will be their horse to care for and grow in their horsemanship. They will learn what it takes to care for a horse before enjoying a ride on their horse out on the trails. After passing the riding examination, campers will be taken on a trail ride to put all their training and knowledge to use. On the trail, campers will enjoy their lunches by the river while learning God’s Word and what it says about horses. This camp is limited to 4 campers per week.

This camp is for kids Kindergarten through 3rd grade who want to learn to sew and for those who enjoy textiles and fabrics. Campers will learn to sew a button, stitch by hand, and creatively repurpose clothing into something that brings them joy. This camp will be “sew” much fun!

Beginner and intermediate dancers will dive into the fundamentals of ballet, jazz, lyrical, and worship! Dancers can expect to improve on technique, explore student choreography as they grow in their own creativity, and finish the camp with a showcase for parents on Thursday.

Campers will rehearse and perform a showcase at the end of the week.

GCA’s Summer Volleyball Camp is open to all rising K-6th grade girls interested in learning more about the sport while having fun. All levels of experience are welcome! The GCA volleyball staff will provide instruction for the players through games and skill drills. There will be two courts running: a beginner/intermediate and advanced. The advanced court provides an excellent opportunity for the middle school-aged players to develop their skills in a competitive environment. This camp is designed to prepare 5th-6th grade girls for our middle school volleyball seasons, as well as give them insight into our high school program and develop knowledge and a love of the sport for our younger players.

Basketball Coach Mason McKnatt, coaches, and players will lead you through individual fundamentals and game strategies to prepare you for your next level of play. This camp will be offensive-minded by taking individual concepts and incorporating them into team offensive movements. Correct spacing, cutting, and ball movement included.

Come join us for the 3rd Annual GCA All-Sports Camp! All-Sports Camp is all about FUN! Our coaches focus on creating an environment where relationships are built through multiple FUN sporting activities. Students participate in traditional sports such as kickball, basketball, flag football, dodgeball, volleyball, baseball, soccer, hockey, and more! We will also play multiple "Big Camp" games with Team vs Team (capture the flag) FUN! Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Lion King, and so much more! We will end each day of camp with water games down by the river! GIANT Slip & Slide, Hungry Hungry Hippo, Water Balloon Toss, Human Bowling - a week full of fun!

Campers will conclude the week with a mini showcase of what they have learned from the week.
