What is the purpose of the Clinical Council?
The Council provides peer-driven guidance on clinical matters, supports professional development, and serves as a sounding board for doctors. It helps identify ways to promote clinical excellence and ensures that doctors’ voices are reflected in GPS Dental’s strategic and operational planning.
Does the Council make mandatory decisions for all practices? No. GPS Dental is a supportive—not management—organization. The Council offers recommendations, resources, and shared standards that practices can choose to adopt in a way that fits their clinical style and patient care approach.
How does the Council promote collaboration among providers? Through open discussion threads in the Dentist Lounge, peer-led coaching initiatives, and shared learning. The Council helps connect doctors across states and specialties to exchange ideas, insights, and support.
What are some examples of Council support in action? Examples include sharing CE resources, offering mentorship for specialty training or practice growth, sharing best practices, and recommending dental products and tools that promote both clinical success and revenue growth.
Can I reach out to the Council with a question or concern? Yes. You can ask questions through the Dentist Lounge in Teams, or reach out directly to the Clinical Council Director or a Council member. The Council is here to support—not to judge or dictate.
