Speaker Dr. Jill Sentlingar DDS, FAGD Raised in Santa Clarita, California, Dr. Sentlingar moved to Texas to attend Baylor University. While at Baylor, Dr. Sentlingar met her husband, Pat, a McKinney native, and began to adapt to the Texas way of life. Dr. Sentlingar earned her doctoral degree at Baylor College of Dentistry in downtown Dallas. While attending Baylor, she developed a love for family dentistry because of the variety of challenges and rewards it brings. Dr. Sentlingar graduated first in her class, earning both the Gold Medal and Alpha Omega Scholar Awards.

Dr. Sentlingar’s professional afflitations include the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry and the AES. Dr. Sentlingar was invited to be a member of the Piper-McKee Study Club in 2013 which focuses on advanced diagnosis and treatment of TMJ disorders and facial pain. She studied with Dr. Piper and Dr. McKee for over 7 years and brings this knowledge into her every day practice. Dr. Sentlingar has been invited to share her knowledge of TMJ disorders and iCAT (3D) imaging at multiple dental meetings. She is excited to share her experience with Invisalign as well, in hopes of helping practices reach their other orthodontic goals. Dr. Sentlingar loves sharing her knowledge and helping advance the field of dentistry.

Hey everyone, We wanted to take a few moments and words to say how grateful and proud we are after the success of GPS’s first annual Continue Education (CE) Summit. Bringing together our Partners and Doctor colleagues for some learning and, more importantly, time together has been a goal of ours for a while, and seeing it come to fruition was amazing.

Huge shout out to everyone who took time away from their work, lives, and families to attend this event. It gives us so much motivation to continue to organize and host these events and others like it. Over 70% of the Doctor’s in GPS’s supported network were able to attend various parts of the Summit. I’m extremely confident in saying that that would rival any attendance metric for a group our size. If anything, I think it shows that we all chose correctly when electing to partner together that we valued that time together.

As you probably heard us say at the Summit, because of our desire to remain a clinically autonomous support team, we’ve probably slacked too much on providing networks and avenues for community and communication within our supported doctor group. You are all incredible clinicians and people, and the exchange of ideas and techniques is something that through events like these we hope to provide future value in providing.

Lastly, thank you so much to the GPS Admin team, and specifically the ladies in Marketing and Procurement (Britney, Rachel, Cherie and Abigail), for bringing this to life. We know how hard y’all all worked for this, and we are ready to give y’all more things to do for the next ones!

Care Credit: Did you know?

Care Credit financing can help your patients get the care they need or want by allowing them to pay overtime with promotional financing options for purchases over $200. By offering financing up front as a monthly payment option, you can increase your case acceptance.

Each clinic has a custom link and QR code that can be accessed from the provider center home page.It brings the patient to a website that we built for each individual clinic. The reason that this is important is that it increases the patient's chance of approval by about 10% when they complete the pre qualification (soft credit check). It also allows your patient to look at the payment calculator that is customized to the promotions that your clinic offers.

As of July 2022, you can help a patient with an application in the office in the provider center portal and use the full credit line for same day treatment if needed. There is no longer a 3 day waiting period.

Studies from the ADA state that the number one reason patients do not move forward with care is financial. Our goal is to help your patients have a way to say YES to optimal treatment by making it an affordable monthly payment.
