AT THE END OF 2019, BALATUBLOCO ASKED ME TO DEVELOP THEIR 5 YEAR COMMEMORATIVE VISUAL IDENTITY TO 2020 CARNIVAL.
IT’S THE BIGGEST CARNIVAL BLOCK FORMED BY UNIVERSITY DRUM BAND’S PLAYERS.
THE BLOCK DIDN’T HAVE A CONSISTENT ID IN THEIR PRODUCTS AND SOCIAL NETWORKS, WHICH WAS ALSO A PROBLEM SOLVED WITH THIS WORK.
ALONGSIDE THE IDENTITY, TEMPLATES FOR SOCIAL NETWORKS AND PRODUCTS LIKE T-SHIRTS WERE ALSO MADE.
THE ENTIRE PROJECT WAS BASED ON THE OLD VISUAL IDENTITY, WITH THE ADDITIONAL OF ILLUSTRATIONS AND SUPPORTING LETTERINGS. AS SHOWN IN THE IMAGES, THE PRODUCTS MADE BOTH FOR THE INSTRUMENT PLAYERS AS FOR PEOPLE OVERALL WHO TOOK PARTICIPATED IN THE EVENT, AS METAL CUPS AND STRAP, T-SHIRTS, DRUM HEADS, SHORTS, TEMPORARY TATTOOS, ALWAYS REFERENCING FUN, HAPPINESS, AND SAMBA.

IN 2016 I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE PART OF THE TEAM WHO DEVELOPED THE BRANDING OF ‘MINI LAB’, FROM THE PROJECT CONCEPTUALIZATION TO ITS VISUAL TRANSLATION. MINI LAB IS A FABLAB WITH WITH HIGH TECH TOOLS FOR MORE ELABORATE WORK, AND SEVERAL LOCATIONS SPREAD OUT THROUGH THE CITY FOR REGULAR TOOLS SHARING PURPOSES, SO THE COMMUNITY CAN DO WHAT THEY NEED AT HOME WITHOUT HAVING TO SPEND A LOT ON TOOLS THEY MIGHT NOT USE AGAIN LATER.

THIS VISUAL IDENTITY WAS DEVELOPED TO ‘CULTURA E PENSAMENTO’ (CULTURE AND THOUGHT - DIRECT TRANSLATION) NATIONAL SEMINAR OF CRITICAL DEBATE, THAT IN 2016 STARTED ABROAING THE ENTIRE LATIN AMERICA. THE PROJECT WAS APPROVED BUT UNFORTUNATELY BECAUSE OF MATTERS OF BUREAUCRACY, WASN’T CARRIED ON.

O Cultura e Pensamento é um programa nacional de ciclos de palestras que estimulam o debate crítico entre a população. Criado pelo Ministério da Cultura (MinC), o programa divulga anualmente um edital com temas a serem discutidos.
Em 2016, o ML ia realizar o Cultura e Pensamento -Centro Oeste, no qual estavam previstas duas ações: um edital e um seminário. Devido às mudanças ocorridas no MinC e impasses na liberação dos recursos, não foi possível executar o programa.
Para o pagamento das bolsas, o ML tem um convênio com a Fundação RTVE. Agora, em 2017, foi acordado com o MinC que o TED (Termo de Execução Descentralizada) será realizado, havendo repasse da verba designada, porém, não mais com a produção de duas ações, e sim com a realização de um seminário de caráter internacional: o Seminário Cultura e Pensamento América Latina.
O Seminário será realizado com base em quatro eixos temáticos: Indústrias Criativas; Cultura Digital; Políticas Públicas e Cultura das Fronteiras. Integrará 11 países da Améric a Latina, além do Brasil. Dentre eles: Argentina, Bolívia, Chile, Colômbia, Cuba, Equador, México, Paraguai, Peru, Uruguai e Venezuela.
Serão convidados três representantes de cada país, com diferentes perfis - um da área governamental, um pensador sobre cultura e um acadêmico sobre -cultura totalizando 33 convidados internacionais.
Ademais, o Seminário prevê uma programação artística envolvendo apresentações de teatro, dança e música.

THE NEW VISUAL IDENTITY OF THE DRUM BAND OF LONDRINA STATE UNIVERSITY’S ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE ‘DEMÔNIOS DA LAGOA’ (LAKE DEMONS) WAS DEVELOPED WITH THE GOAL OF STANDING OUT AMONG OTHER DRUM BANDS AND FROM THEIR SPORTS TEAM, HAVING A UNIQUE BRAND OF THEIR OWN. BESIDE THE MAIN LOGO, ALTERNATIVE LOGOS WERE MADE FOR DIFFERENT USES, AND ALSO PRODUCTS TO BE SOLD BY THEM, LIKE SHIRTS, JACKETS, HATS, SHORTS, ETC.

‘PINTADA’ (PAINTED, FEMININE), IS THE SPORTS UNION OF THE COURSES, LIKE GRAPHIC DESIGN, FASHION DESIGN, ARTS AND ARCHITECTURE, FROM THE VISUAL ARTS SCHOOL OF THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF GOIÁS, WHICH WAS FORMERLY CALLED ‘FAVELADA’, AND THE NAME CHANGING BROUGHT THE NEED FOR A NEW VISUAL IDENTITY. BEING A SPORTS ENTITY, AN ALTERNATIVE LOGO WAS ALSO DEVELOPED TO BE USED IN UNIFORMS, ALSO LOGO VARIATIONS FOR DIFFERENT USES IN PRODUCTS.
THE NEW VISUAL IDENTITY OF THE DRUM BAND OF LONDRINA STATE UNIVERSITY’S PSYCHOLOGY ‘UNIDOS DO DIVÃ’ (DIVAN UNITED) WAS DEVELOPED WITH THE GOAL OF STANDING OUT, AND HAVING A MORE PROFESSIONAL LOOK, TO BE MORE RESPECTABLE AMONG OTHER DRUM BANDS IN THEIR CITY.

DURING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE LOGO, IT WAS TAKEN IN CONSIDERATION THE NUMBER 2 IN ROMAN NUMERALS, RELATING TO A ROLL FILM, LOOKING TO MAKE THE CLOSE RELATION OF THE EVENT’S ESSENCE AND ITS BRANDING.

THIS PROJECT WAS DEVELOPED DURING THE VISUAL IDENTITY CLASS IN THE VISUAL ARTS SCHOOL OF THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF GOIÁS. THE ILLUSTRATED TIE COMPANY ‘JUSTIES’ WAS FICTIONAL AND CREATED BY US, WHERE WE DEFINED ALL ITS GOALS AND MOTTOS, STUDYING WHO WOULD BE ITS CORE PUBLIC AND HOW ITS SHOULD GROW IN THE MARKET.
SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS MADE TO PARTIES TO SPECIFIC MEDICAL SCHOOL CLASSES. EACH OF THEM WAS CUSTOM MADE TO A SPECIFIC PARTY THEME, USUALLY WITH MORE PRODUCTS, LIKE MUGS AND T-SHIRTS. THESE WERE MADE TO A LOT OF DIFFERENT CLASSES FROM MANY DIFFERENT UNIVERSITIES IN BRAZIL, THROUGH THE PHOTOGRAPHY AND DESIGN COMPANY ‘MAISFOTO INÉDITA’.
IT WAS DEVELOPED TO THE STUDIO ‘PANIC STATION’ NOT ONLY THE LOGO, BUT ALSO ITS REVEAL ANIMATION, WHICH WAS MADE IN A TRADITIONAL ANIMATION STYLE, FRAME BY FRAME, AT 30 FRAMES PER SECOND, GETTING A TOTAL OF ALMOST 200 FRAMES. THE ANIMATION WAS MAINLY MADE TO BE USED IN THE VIDEOS MADE BY THE STUDIO.
I WAS HIRED BY THE FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY CREW OF AMBIENTE SKATESHOP TO FILM SHORT CLIPS FOR THE MUSIC FESTIVAL ‘BANANADA’ THAT OCCURS EVERY YEAR IN GOIÂNIA. THEY HAVE IN THEIR LINE UP SEVERAL FAMOUS NATIONAL ARTISTS LIKE KAROL CONKÁ, MUTANTES, BAIANA SYSTEM AND CRIOLO. HERE ARE SOME PICTURES TAKEN DURING THE FESTIVAL.

AS ILUSTRAÇÕES FORAM FEITAS PELO SIMPLES PRAZER DE DESENHAR, NÃO PERDER A PAIXÃO NA LIBERDADE DE CRIAÇÃO, E TAMBÉM COMO FORMA DE EVOLUIR MINHAS HABILIDADES DE PERCEPÇÃO DE FORMA, COMPOSIÇÕES, CORES, TÉCNICAS DE SOFTWARES. EU TENTO SEMPRE UTILIZAR TÉCNICAS E ESTILOS DIFERENTES, TRAZENDO MAIS VERSATILIDADE AO MEU TRAÇO E REPERTÓRIO VISUAL.
