Catuma, ArTchitecture collection, model “Nord”: the steel front expands on voluptuous and geometric designs on the top of it, inspired by the Catuma square plant, the main square of Andria. Inserts in striped zebrano wood give to the model a warm and enveloping look: The terminals are in acetate to a perfect fit. All lenses are equipped with anti-reflective blue coating. March 2016 - The dialogue between art and architecture has always been a focal point of debates and discussions. The one indissolubly influences the other, so that often projects are like artworks, while some paintings have geometric patterns worthy of the most meticulous project plan. This continuous blend of design, spaces, functions, history, identity, inspiration, colors, has inspired the new Catuma collection, called ArTchitecture. Already announced by the capsule collection inspired by the genius of the Irish architect Eileen Gray, the new collection of the brand has some peculiarities that bring to mind omnipresent themes in the architect’s work, but adapting designs, shapes and materials in a spectacular collection of eyeglasses and sunglasses. In fact, Eileen Gray loved the steel, material adopted for tubular inside her projects, which have given birth to modern and luxurious interiors, where each detail and piece of furniture, followed a precise description logic of the environment.
