EXCITING NEW SHOWS HEADING FOR THE PAVILION 2016 will see the Pavilion Theatre celebrating its 115th birthday and we’ve got a spectacular line up of plays, musicals, concerts, pantomimes and of course our fantastic Summer Laughter Show to see the year through in style!

2015 has been a fantastic year for the theatre and we have already put into place massive improvements to the theatre that will make your experience even better than before. With a completely revamped sound system and a new online booking experience on the way, we are continuing to invest in this original Edwardian building to keep the building alive and kicking.

We couldn’t achieve any of this without your support though, so please do continue to support your local LIVE theatre. We will have numerous events throughout the year to support our fund raising efforts to kickstart our new restoration and education charity, so keep an eye on the website for more details of that.

Beyond the stars a thrilling adventure awaits. With the aid of a little fairy dust - Peter Pan will whisk Wendy and her brothers away to live in Neverland with the Lost Boys to a world of Pirates, Indians, Mermaids a Tick Tock sinister crocodile and lurking aboard The Jolly Roger, the villainous Captain Hook.

The Jonathan Wyatt Big Band, back by popular demand with an evening at ‘The Sands - Rat Pack Tribute Show’ A fun filled evening with their Rat Pack tribute show.

National Coastwatch Institution, Gorleston presents a charity concert featuring: Tim O’Malley (Compere), Toccata (Singing Duo), St Mary’s Singers, GYB Future Brass Band, Audrey Wood ( Singer ), Voices in ‘G’ (Singers) & Leah (Comedienne).

Stage Door Youth Theatre bring you this enchanting tale, to brighten up a cold January. Its action packed imaginatively staged - bursting with wonderful music - swashbuckling fun and a must see for children of all ages!

Dusty Miller and Friends invite you to an evening of sparkling entertainment In Aid of Louise Hamilton Hospice Trust Appeal.

Pegasus Productions presents Charles Dickens ‘The Haunting’. In an ancient crumbling mansion - sheltering from the howling winds that tear across the surrounding desolate moorland two men stumble across a dark and terrifying secret that will change both of their lives.

The show is a celebration of the songs and stories of the big four British female pop stars of the swinging sixties.

A celebration of life supporting end of life care. A glittering evening of song, dance, music and comedy.

Based on several original ghost stories

by Charles Dickens and adapted by Hugh Janes - The Haunting toured the UK in 2010/2011.

Supported by an acclaimed live band award winning Helen Abbey sings the hits of Cilla Black, Dusty Springfield, Lulu and Sandie Shaw. Featuring classic hits like: Shout, Anyone Who Had A Heart, I Only Want To Be With You, Always Something There To Remind Me and To Sir With Love.

What’s On 2016 I PAVILION Theatre Gorleston

Oklahoma Gorleston Theatre Company returns with the classic musical ‘Oklahoma’ set in the Indian territory at the turn of the century when cattlemen and farmers were fighting over fences and water rights. In the middle of that controversy are two more rivalries.

One between a cowboy called Curley and a hired hand named Jud - both in love with Laurey. The second involves Ado Annie - Will and Ali Hakim - a trio that will provide plenty of laughs.

The music and lyrics have proven to be some of the best in musical theatre with songs that include ‘Oh What a Beautiful Morning’, ‘I Can’t Say No’, ‘Oklahoma! and many more.

The show is a celebration of fun mayhem and thespian mischief and is of a similar format to ‘Noises off’ a play within a play.

Gypsy Productions bring you an all new Laughter Show for the 2016 Season.

The ensemble go head to head as they play the characters in the play and the actors who are in the play - sound confusing - well it’s not. It’s a fastpaced farce which is easy to watch and a lot of fun. You’ll see jealousy revelations and the precious actor’s egos revealed. Some crisp writing and hilarious ‘double entrendres’ from John Chapman.

Formerly ‘Freddie and The Dreamers.’

The Dreamers remain one of the best known named bands on the sixties music circuit. Changes to personnel over the past 50 years were of course inevitable but two members Alan Mosca and Bryan Byng remain in the band today - they have been in the band as ‘Freddie and The Dreamers’ and then ‘The Dreamers’ for over 37 years. With their unique harmonies and musicianship they add an extra dimension to the Dreamers. Who along with the hits of Freddie and The Dreamers perform the most popular songs of the fifties rock and roll days and the great songs of the sixties.

Froggie writes and sings his own songs mesmerising his audience making them laugh with one of his many stories or cry with emotion with a song that touches the heart like no other.

Lindsay Hamilton is one of the finest British musical theatre actresses and cabaret singers to emerge in recent years.

Buddy - a young orphan mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole.

The would-be elf is raised unaware that he is actually a human - until his enormous size and poor toymaking abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list - and his stepbrother doesn’t even believe in Santa - Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Disabled facilities are available and the entire theatre is fully accessible.

We welcome all major credit and debit cards over the telephone and in person.

If you do have specific seating requirements (i.e. wheelchairs or walkers) please do alert a member of booking staff at the time of booking.

Online bookings and telephone bookings will incur a £1 booking fee.

This fee is waived for over the counter cash payments.

Refund Policy We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded (cash or credit card), although the Box Office will, where possible, offer returned tickets for resale for a small handling charge of £1 per ticket. In these situations, the sale of the theatre’s own tickets will take priority.
