AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2014-15: Chan saw extensive collegiate action his sophomore year. Most notably, Chan recorded six undefeated performances throughout the season and finished with a 31-23 record. Chan competed at the Mid-Atlantic/Southern Regionals and placed 11th. AS A FRESHMAN IN 2013-14:Howie Chan was a strong competitor to the Nittany Lion fencers in his first year of collegiate action. Chan finished the year with 23 wins and 10 losses.

Most notable were Valigorsky’s two undefeated, 3-0 performances against UNC and Vassar. AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2013-14: Valigorsky saw limited action this year and finished with a 10-0 record. Valigorsky went undefeated against Drew, UNC, Duke, and Haverford University. AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012-13: Valigorsky did not see any dual action this year, but placed 21st in the Garret Open. HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Paul “Trip” Valigorsky comes to Penn State from DuBois, Pennsylvania. His sister, Lee Valigorsky, fenced for Penn State from 2007-2011. He previously fenced for Rockville Fencing Academy in Rockville, Maryland. Valigorsky currently majors in chemistry.

Graziano finished the season with a record of 19-5. AS A FRESHMAN IN 2013-14: In his freshman campaign, Graziano saw spot action but managed to go an undefeated 5-0 against all three schools he had dual action with. Those schools included Drew, UNC, and Haverford. HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Nicolas Graziano was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. During his time at The Masters School, Graziano fenced all four years and was an Independent School Fencing League champion every year. Graziano chose Penn State because he believes it is the best fencing school and it was his dream to attend Penn State.
