Dalk and Welcome to the October edition of our Newsletter
I will begin by addressing the cloud of sadness that hangs over our Goolum Family. Losing a member of sta is never an easy thing to process and we have all been hit hard by the recent loss of our colleague and friend to many Shannon. It was a joy to be part of the community lunch featuring the boy’s menu and cooking skills – lots of fun and more deeply it was an opportunity to gather and share a special moment knowing we are all part of one big family through the best and worst of times. I will always reflect with a sense of pride that Shannon really found her purpose and safe place here amongst her community. A big thank you to all of our friends and colleagues across the ACCO sector who have sent messages of love and support – it has meant a lot to our teams. Happy to see all of the activities going on and being planned – we just get busier as the year comes to an end. Well done to all the mob that participated in the carnival and we are always doing our best to provide support to participants. Our newsletter is full of important information about events, programs, and our people. Lovely to see the new faces and for those who love a good conspiracy theory there might just be something in the fact our latest additions are all Collingwood supporters!! Lots going on and lots to achieve before the year is over.
Take care Ants

Elders Cra Group
As most of you are aware our ladies have their cra group every Tuesday usually in the Aunty Irene Room. To ensure this is a safe place for them to gather without interruptions could we ask that all community and family members respect that this is their time.
If it is necessary for you to catch up with any of the Elders on this day please ask at either reception and then Kylie and Stumpy will organise if possible.
Thank you all for your understanding.
