Dear Friends of Goodwill,

It is with great pride and gratitude that we reflect on the past year and our journey through eight decades of innovation, resilience, and growth. From our humble beginning in 1945, we have dedicated ourselves to improving and changing lives through the power of work.

In 2024, we achieved significant milestones across our organization that affirmed our commitment to workforce development by providing good jobs, career training, and employment placement services to individuals in our community.

This report not only highlights our accomplishments over the past year, but also sets the stage for an exciting future as we look towards celebrating our 80th year in 2025.

Thank you for being an integral part of our journey. Together, we are shaping the next chapter of success, guided by the same spirit of innovation, integrity, and purpose that has defined our organization for eight decades.

With gratitude,

MISSION

WHAT WE DO

Goodwill San Antonio is more than a collection of stores, it’s a movement built on creating pathways to success. Through a multifaceted approach, we utilize donated goods retail and contract services to fund and fulfill our mission.

Donated Goods Retail: Donations from generous community members fuel our retail operations, which include 26 retail locations across a vast 24-county territory in South Texas. Proceeds from every purchase directly support our workforce development programs, serving as a vital source of funding for our mission-driven initiatives.

Workforce Development: From skills training to employment placement services, our workforce development programs equip individuals with the tools and confidence needed to thrive in today’s economy. This includes specialized programs in high-demand industries like logistics and healthcare.

Business Services: Partnering with businesses and government agencies, we provide outsourcing services such as document management, facility maintenance, call center, and groundskeeping. These partnerships create meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
