I know the One who can perform miracles even today.
Way maker. Miracle worker. Promise keeper. Light in the darkness. My God, that is who You are.
You see, one evening, Jesus told His disciples to accompany Him in a boat. As they were crossing over to the other side of the lake, a great windstorm arose. The waves were beating so hard against the boat that it was filling with water.
The disciples were fearful for their future. They were afraid they were going to drown, but in the midst of all their chaos, Jesus was calm. He wasn’t worried one bit.
He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow, when the disciples awoke Him and said, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” (Matthew 8:25).
Jesus “arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm” (Mark 4:39).
Then “He said to them, ‘Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?’” (Mark 4:40).
That same Jesus who calmed the raging sea is still in control. If He has control over the winds and sea, I know He has control over the virus that is causing widespread panic in our world today.
He can make a way when there seems to be no way. Speak His name and ask Him to bring order to the chaos, calm to the panic, peace to the unrest, and light to the darkness! My God is a miracle worker!

CBD Products—What’s All The Buzz? by Dave Carringer Oh, Wait—There’s Not One.
In 2019, the U.S. made positive regulatory changes regarding products containing Cannabidiol (CBD). Consumers have reported beneficial effects in pain, stress, and sleep. Chronic pain patients are reporting CBD makes a noticeable difference in daily life function without side effects of prescription drugs. CBD is also getting attention in areas of depression, inflammation, nerve pain and disorders, and even reports of helping alleviate cancer-related symptoms and treatment side effects.
These new regulations, along with consumers reporting various physical and mental benefits, have created a market flooded with new CBD companies, stores, and products even being sold in smoke shops and convenience stores. This market explosion raises legitimate questions. Are all CBD products the same? Are they safe? Which ones can I trust? If you’re curious about CBD, I’ll briefly touch on a few basic facts to help get you started in the right direction.
There are 3 major groups of CBD products. “Full-spectrum” (or whole-plant) products contain CBD along with terpenes and other cannabinoids. This group has an advantage known as the “entourage effect,” simply meaning the cannabinoids and terpenes work synergistically for maximum results. Full-spectrum products have a very low (less than 0.3%) THC content with no “intoxicating” effects whatsoever. Still, people subject to drug tests should be aware that (just like eating culinary hemp oil, poppy seeds, or hemp protein) they can trigger a positive drug test. “Broad-spectrum” products are typically the choice for those with drug testing concerns or sensitivity to THC. These also have an array of cannabinoids and terpenes with CBD but contain zero THC. “Isolate” products contain only CBD that’s been isolated from everything else and are mixed with carrier oils or in powder form.
Although CBD is extracted from hemp, hemp oil is not the same as CBD. All CBD companies, product standards, and extraction processes are not equal. It’s advisable to research companies apart from product sales reps or brochures. Attractive labels and smooth sales pitches won’t guarantee you’re purchasing a safe, quality product.
