You Owe Me Nothing!

The world, society, or life owe me nothing. I say this to set you free. I say this to set your heart, your mind, and your conscious at liberty. You owe me nothing. I have no expectations of you to be a certain way towards me. You could never give me what I need anyway. What I need today is victory. For every day of my life, I want to live in such a way that makes people stand at attention and salute the efforts I choose to live for—freedom.

My victory came on Calvary the day Christ said “Father forgive them for they no not what they do” (Luke 23:24). That was the day we became free; the day Christ died and rose again. My reality of my freedom comes from His reality to forgive. So, I choose to live in what Christ obtained for me, not what I believe man should give me. This is my personal stance.

Christ has become the narrator of my life-story, all other narratives (from all other narrators) has been silenced. If it was not for Christ Jesus, where would I be? Christ before culture, not culture before Christ. I choose to take my rightful place in Christ. I am the righteousness of Christ. Christ gives me the gift of righteousness. Man did not give this to me and cannot take it away. What can you do to a free person?

The real enemy is not being identified. Like a puppet on a string, we are sometimes being used and lured into the destruction of one another, instead of loving, honoring, and blessing each other. I understand it is impossible to give what you do not have. You must first receive forgiveness before you can give it to others. That is the revelation revealed to me, when Jesus died on that cross on Golgotha’s hill, He gave forgiveness. If we would receive His forgiveness, we too can give it to others. Why would He give me something I did not earn nor deserve, but needed, only to keep it for myself? I was forgiven to forgive others.

We need each other. I cannot become what I was created to be without you. Imagine being in a rain forest and seeing the most beautiful plants, trees, vines etc. Now imagine something disappears. Is the rain forest as beautiful? No, because it is simply not complete. Father God said to me,

each one of your cultures brings something unique and beautiful to each other. Father God gave us this uniqueness and beauty. So, I say again, you owe me nothing. Everything I need has been given by my Heavenly Father Yahweh and I receive it and walk in it by faith. Blessings!
