Sam, we must say we’re surprised by the size of your store - and of the ranges of clothes you carry. You’re not the first to say that. New customers are always taken aback at first, in a pleasant way obviously. I think people expect us to be a tiny out of town store - it’s lovely to see their delighted expressions when they first walk through our door; plus they all appreciate the free parking right outside our store! We love the colours we can see in here right now; can you tell us what’s new for A/W16? Thank you; the pops of lime are great as an accent colour for the usual autumn/ winter navy, black and greys - and berry shades are perfect too for highlighting the season’s neutrals.
We have some to-die-for tailored jackets, and our fantastic jeans from Marble and Olsen are flying out of the door. Also our new range of waterproof jackets is proving to be very popular. What brands are your most popular? Our best sellers are definitely Olsen, Marble, Bianca, Adini, Emreco, Pomodoro and our newest range from Pont Neuf. We’re the only stockists of Olsen and Bianca in South Wales so we do have customers popping in from far afield to pick up their increasingly popular pieces. Do you have a typical customer? Not at all; our wide ranges suit all tastes, and change frequently. So if you’re looking for a new top, dress, skirt, or even accessories, it’s likely we’ll have something that’s just right for you. 38
Ah you mentioned one of our favourite words ‘accessories’. Us too; you can totally change the look of an outfit with carefully chosen accessories. We carry a great range of scarves and necklaces (perfect for Christmas gifts) and we provide a much-loved service for bespoke hats and fascinators which can be made to match any outfit bought here. We also offer a first-class clothing alterations service - very popular for turning up a skirt or pair of trousers.
