In fact, our barbeque pits haven’t stopped smoking since we first opened our doors in 1977—because we figure when you’re in it for the long haul, no shortcut’s worth taking. Which is why barbeque’s only the tip of the tongs when it comes to Goode grit. Our fresh Gulf seafood, taqueria joint, and live music palace are also unique culminations of our family traditions—ones we’ve been heartily dishing out for decades.

Our brisket, ribs and sausage are slow-smoked and hand rubbed with our secret blend of herbs and spices. By using only the finest cuts of USDA beef, we’re certain every tender slice of meat we ship is as fresh as the wood that waits outside our smokehouse—those sweet-smelling stacks of mesquite that mean this food is damn good and done right.

SAUSAGE The real deal. We first started making sausage when our original sausage maker, an old Czech immigrant that settled in Weimar, Texas, decided to retire. He gave us a few pointers, and we began to craft four individual varieties of our own.
