Middle School
A DYNAMIC LAUNCHPAD for achievement, growth, and discovery for students in grades 6-8. We have created a Middle School program and environment where every student can thrive. Our program focuses on academic achievement through project-based, student-focused learning, extracurriculars that offer robust opportunities in athletics and the arts that adds an essential element to our program, and a close advisory relationship with a faculty member who supports their academic progress, personal growth, and social-emotional wellbeing at school. The result is confident, engaged, happy, future-ready students.
Upper School
HARVEY STUDENTS
ARE curious, passionate, intelligent, kind, engaged, creative, thoughtful, funny, athletic, dedicated, adventurous, diverse, welcoming lifelong learners. Our students are all that and more because there is no one type of Harvey student. Harvey Upper School students are empowered and challenged to find their voices, be self-advocates, and make positive choices, preparing them well for college and enabling them to become who they want to be.
Athletics
WE ARE HARVEY CAVALIERS! Harvey Athletics offers an inclusive athletics program where all our students participate in a way that best fits their interests and ability levels. From the elite athlete to the first-time participant, our students learn and grow from a positive athletic experience and being members of a team. We work with Positive Coaching Alliance to ensure our coaches, many of whom are teachers, provide a safe and healthy team environment for every student-athlete.
Arts
WHEN WE CREATE, WE LEARN. We believe every student benefits from an education in the arts, whether it is fine arts, visual arts, media arts, theater, dance, chorus, band, or music. With studios designed for art, dance, media production, ceramics, graphic design, and photography, our professionally trained faculty of artists allow each student the freedom and opportunity to discover their unique way to express themselves creatively.
College Counseling
READY TO SUCCEED. The many colleges and universities our students attend are as varied and interesting as their passions and pursuits. 100% of our students gain college acceptance. Because our college approach is personalized to focus on finding the best school for each student, the majority of our students attend their first-choice school. With over 60 college representatives coming to our campus in the fall and spring, our students receive individual attention to find that right-fit school upon graduation.

WE CONNECT WITH OUR STUDENTS
Financial Aid
Our College Counseling office takes a personalized approach to guide each student in finding the colleges and universities that best match their interests, personality, and aspirations. We understand that college isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey. Our goal is to help every student discover the right-fit school where they can succeed and thrive beyond their years at Harvey. “
R Underclassmen College Night
We believe that socio-economic diversity enriches our community and contributes to cultivating the strengths of each of our students. While a Harvey education is a significant investment, we try our best for tuition not to be a barrier to entry into our school. Ask us how we can make a Harvey education a reality for your child!
WORKING WITH THE HARVEY COLLEGE OFFICE, I WAS ABLE TO CREATE A LIST OF SCHOOLS TO LOOK AT, TELLING ME WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND HOW TO BEST PREPARE FOR SUPPLEMENTALS OR INTERVIEWS. AND HERE I AM LOVING SKIDMORE AND COLLEGE LIFE.”
