He had agreed to meet there for an interview about his groundbreaking work in the field of polymer science, his many patents, and the numerous honors and awards he has received. Construction on Free Clinic building GHS Drama students bringing the ‘Horror’ ahead of schedule Staff could move into new facility by early 2018 By Roslyn Ryan Editor

Six months after breaking ground on a new, 20,000square-foot facility on River Road, staff and clients of Goochland Free Clinic and Family Services have a projected move-in date within their sites. According to GFCFS Executive Director Sally Graham, construction on the building, which will allow the

organization to finally bring all of its 11 programs under one roof, is actually ahead of schedule. “It’s going great,” Graham said last week, adding that the much of the drywall and interior systems have now been installed. The next few months will be focused on completing the interior work and getting the space ready to welcome GFCFS clients. A nonprofit focused on providing food, medical care and emergency shelter to Goochland residents in need, GFCS was formed see Free Clinic > 7
