Planning Commission gives go-ahead to golf facility By Roslyn Ryan Editor

The Goochland County Planning Commission voted unanimously on June 1 to recommend approval of a planned indoor golf driving range that developers hope to build near the intersection of Route 288 and I-64.

The rezoning request, submitted on behalf of Drive Shack Inc. would clear the way for the 60,000 square foot, four-story complex located at the southeast quadrant of the interchange. According to representatives from the company, it would feature a restaurant, event space, private suites and both inddor and outdoor driving ranges.
