hood affected are opposing the idea. Bellview Gardens Medical, LLC filed the application July18, asking that 2.7 acres be rezoned from R-1 to B-2. The application outlines plans for constructing two 9,450 square foot medical office buildings on the parcel. Ninety five parking spaces would be provided. Entrance to the project would be from Mills Road, which is also the entrance way to the Bellview Gardens neighborhood.

Goodwill Industries applied for rezoning to build a store at the same location last year but withdrew its application after Bellview Gardens residents opposed the store and the planning commission voted unanimously against it. “We don’t want a business on that corner,” said Pamela Lane resident Joanna Matthews last week.
