UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Acevedo, en un área de influencia directa de 2 veredas: Tocora y Riecitos correspondientes a la zona Parque Nacional Natural Cueva de los Guacharos.

CERTIFICACIONES OBTENIDAS: 25 Socios certificados con el sello RAINFOREST ALLIANCE desde noviembre del año 2009, 6 socios que tienen verificación C.A.F.E. PRACTICES año 2008.

LOS GUÁCHAROS This organization dedicated to environmental conservation and production of special coffee, was founded in 2001 and was formerly known as “Biological Corridor.”

LOCATION: The organization is located in the southern part of Huila in Acevedo in an area of direct influence: Tocora and Riecitos in the National Park Guacharos Cave.

NUMBER OF PARTNERS: 52 TOTAL AREA: 130 hectares COFFEE PRODUCTION PER YEAR: 100.000 kilos.

OBTAINED APPROVALS: 25 Membership Certificates with the RAINFOREST ALLIANCE since November of 2009, 6 partners have verification C.A.F.E. PRACTICES 2008.

VEGAS DEL SUAZA Esta organización dedicada a la producción de cafés especiales siendo amigables con el medio ambiente, fue fundada en abril del 2003.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Acevedo, en un área de influencia directa de 9 veredas: Guaduales, El Rubí, Porvenir, La Esperanza, La Monus, Monserrate, Aguas Claras, Riecitos y El Salado algunas de estas pertenecen a la zona Parque Nacional Natural Cueva de los Guácharos.

NÚMERO DE ASOCIADOS: 48 ÁREA TOTAL: 100 Has PRODUCCIÓN DE CAFÉ AL AÑO: 200.000 kilos.

CERTIFICACIONES OBTENIDAS: 12 Socios certificados con el sello RAINFOREST ALLIANCE desde noviembre del año 2009, 36 socios que tienen verificación C.A.F.E. PRACTICES año 2008.

VEGAS DEL SUAZA This organization is dedicated to the production of special coffee being friendly to the environment. It was founded in April 2003.

LOCATION: The organization is located in the southern part of Huila, in Acevedo, in an area of direct influence of 9 villages like: Guaduales, Rubí, Porvenir, Esperanza, Monus, Monserrate, Aguas Claras, Riecito and Salado some of them belong the National Park Guacharos Cave.

NUMBER OF PARTNERS: 48 TOTAL AREA: 100 hectares COFFEE PRODUCTION PER YEAR: 200.000 kilos.

AMIGOS DE BETANIA Los Amigos de Betania es una organización que tiene como objetivo implementar buenas prácticas en el cultivo de café. También trabajan con especies menores como aves de corral, entre otras.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Isnos, en un área de influencia directa de 3 veredas: Betania, Bajo Junín y Diamante.

NÚMERO DE ASOCIADOS: 40 ÁREA TOTAL: 80 Has PRODUCCIÓN DE CAFÉ AL AÑO: 15.000 kilos.

CERTIFICACIONES OBTENIDAS: Se encuentran en proceso para alcanzar algún sello verde.

BETANIA FRIENDS The Betania Friends is an organization that aims to implement the best practices in the coffee. They are also working with small species such as poultry, among others.

LOCATION: The organization is located in the southern part of Huila, in Isnos in an area of direct influence of 3 villages like: Betania, Bajo Junín and Diamante.

NUMBER OF PARTNERS: 40 TOTAL AREA: 80 hectares.

COFFEE PRODUCTION PER YEAR: 15.000 kilos.

GRUPO CAFETERO LOS AMIGOS El Grupo Cafetero Los Amigos es una organización que tiene como objetivo implementar buenas prácticas en el cultivo de café posicionándolo como el segundo producto de importancia en la zona después de la caña panelera.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Isnos, en un área de influencia directa de 3 veredas: Manuelita, Villa Nueva y Ciénaga Grande.

NÚMERO DE ASOCIADOS: 18 ÁREA TOTAL: 38 Has PRODUCCIÓN DE CAFÉ AL AÑO: 20.000 kilos.

FRIENDS COFFEE GROUP Friends coffee group is an organization that aims to implement the best practices in the coffee growing placing it as the second most important product in the region after the panela cane.

LOCATION: The organization is located in the southern department of Huila,in Isnos in an area of direct influence of 3 villages: Manuelita, Villa Nueva and Ciénaga Grande.

NUMBER OF PARTNERS: 18 TOTAL AREA: 38 hectares COFFEE PRODUCTION PER YEAR: 20.000 kilos.

SAN LORENZO LA FLORIDA San Lorenzo la florida es una organización asentada en el municipio de Isnos. Las actividades principales de la asociación son el café y la caña para la transformación de la panela.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Isnos, en un área de influencia directa que es la vereda La Florida.

SAN LORENZO LA FLORIDA San Lorenzo Florida is an organization in Isnos. The main activities of the association are coffee and sugar cane for sugar cane processing.

ACORMACIZO Dedicada a la conservación del medio ambiente y a la producción de cafés orgánicos y ecoturismo, fue fundada en el año 2001.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Palestina, en un área de influencia directa de 8 veredas: Montañitas, Nazaret, San Isidro, Sinaí, L as Juntas, las Delicias y Los Pinos .

NÚMERO DE ASOCIADOS: 20 ÁREA TOTAL: 45 Has PRODUCCIÓN DE CAFÉ AL AÑO: 22.500 kilos.

CERTIFICACIONES OBTENIDAS: Esta Asociación cuenta con 19 socios con certificación Orgánica obtenida en octubre del 2007.

ACORMACIZO It is dedicated to the preservation of the environment and the production of ORGANIC coffee and eco-tourism. It was founded in 2001.

LOCATION: The organization is located in the southern department of Huila, Isnos municipality in an area of direct influence of 8 villages: Montañita, Nazaret, San Isidro, Sinaí, Las Juntas, Las delicias and Los Pinos.

NUMBER OF PARTNERS: 20 TOTAL AREA: 45 hectares COFFEE PRODUCTION PER YEAR: 22.500 kilos.

OBTAINED APPROVALS: 19 Membership with ORGANIC Certification obtained in 2008.

ASOCIACIÓN DE PRODUCTORES Y COMERCIALIZADORES AGROPECUARIOS DE PALESTINA - “APCAP” APCAP es una organización creada en 1997 por un grupo de productores interesados en impulsar el desarrollo agropecuario de su municipio fomentando un desarrollo sostenible, ambiental y económicamente viable. Desde sus comienzos ha venido ejecutando diferentes proyectos en los siguientes sectores: café, turismo, frutales de clima frío y piscicultura.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Palestina, en un área de influencia directa de 15 veredas: Nazaret, San Isidro, Montañita, El Paraíso, Sinaí, La Reforma, Santa Bárbara, El Portal, Betania, Las Juntas, El Silencio, Sandray, El Tabor, Guajira y Los Pinos.

AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS ASSOCIATION IN PALESTINA - “APCAP” APCAP is an organization created in 1997 by a group of producers interested in boosting the agricultural development in their municipality and promoting sustainable and environmental development in an easy way. Since its beginning, it has implemented different projects in the following sectors: coffee, tourism, cold climate fruits and fish.

LOCATION: The organization is located in the southern part of Huila, in Palestine in an area of direct influence of 15 villages: Nazareth, San Isidro, Montañita, Sinaí, Las Juntas, el Paraíso, La reforma, Santa Bárbara, El portal, Betania, El silencio, Sandray, El tabor, Guajira and Los pinos. .

CABILDO YACUAS YANACONAS El Cabildo Yacuas Yanaconas es una organización que por su cultura indígena implementa prácticas amigables con la naturaleza permitiendo un equilibrio entre lo ambiental y lo agrícola.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Palestina, en un área de influencia directa de 13 veredas: Los Pinos, Roble, Jordán, Emaus, Galilea, Santa Bárbara, Líbano, Samaria, La Esperanza, Betania, Nazaret, Paraíso y Belén.

CABILDO YACUAS YANACONAS The Cabildo Yacuas Yanaconas is an organization that implements the indigenous culture by nature friendly practices. It balances the environment and agriculture.

LOCATION: The organization is located in the southern part of Huila, in Palestine in an area of direct influence of 13 villages: Los Pinos, Roble, Jordán, Emaus, Galilea, Santa Bárbara, Líbano, Samaria, La Esperanza, Betania, Nazaret, Paraíso and Belén.

ASOCIACIÓN DE PRODUCTORES DE ALTA CALIDAD DEL MACIZO “APECAFÉ” APECAFÉ es una organización constituída legalmente desde el 2008 que tiene como objetivo promover, desarrollar y estimular la producción agropecuaria de forma sostenible, social y cultural de los socios.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Pitalito, en un área de influencia directa de 9 veredas: Betania, San Martin, Lucitania, Divino Niño, Vista Hermosa, Cafarnaum, Hacienda Laboyos, El Diviso y Tabacal.

NÚMERO DE ASOCIADOS: 40 ÁREA TOTAL: 176 Has PRODUCCIÓN DE CAFÉ AL AÑO: 50.000 kilos.

HIGH QUALITY PRODUCERS ASSOTIATION “APECAFÉ” APECAFÉ is a legally established organization since 2008 which aims to promote, develop and encourage sustainable agricultural, social and cultural partners’ production.

LOCATION: The organization is located in the southern department of Huila in Pitalito in an area of direct influence of 9 villages: Betania, San Martin, Lucitania, Divino Niño, Vista Hermosa, Cafarnaum, Hacienda Laboyos, El Diviso and Tabacal.

NUMBER OF PARTNERS: 40 TOTAL AREA: 176 hectares COFFEE PRODUCTION PER YEAR: 50.000 kilos.

OBTAINED APPROVALS: RAINFOREST ALLIANCE, C.A.F.E. PRACTICES and FLO process.

GRUPO ASOCIATIVO DE ALTA CALIDAD EL CANEY Constituida en un principio por amigos de la zona, y en especial por la familia Artunduaga , fue fundada el 26 de junio de 2003, bajo los factores determinantes de contar con la presencia de apoyos de cooperación internacional, lo cual generó en la zona el auge de los cafés de alta calidad, logrando cambiar la concepción del grupo de ver el café como una actividad secundaria y pasarla al primer renglón de su economía.

UBICACIÓN: El Caney es una organización asentada en el municipio de Pitalito y su origen de conformación es el corregimiento de Bruselas vereda la Hacienda, en un área de influencia directa como lo son los corregimientos de Guacacayo y Bruselas con sus veredas en la cual realizan sus diferentes procesos como el de comercialización, certificación y actividades propias de la organización.

NÚMERO DE ASOCIADOS: 84 ÁREA TOTAL: 480 Has PRODUCCIÓN DE CAFÉ AL AÑO: 200.000 kilos.

HIGH QUALITY PARTNER GROUP EL CANEY Initially, it was formed by a group of friends in the area, and especially by the Artunduaga family. It was founded on June 26, 2003, under the need of having the presence of international cooperation support, which resulted in the growth of high quality coffees, changing the conception coffee as a sideline production activity and passing it as the main production activity of economy.

LOCATION: The Caney is an organization located in Pitalito which has its origins in Brussels. It has an area of direct influence as the villages of Guacacayo and Brussels with their path in which they perform their different processes such as marketing, certification and other activities of the organization.

ASOCIACIÓN DE PRODUCTORES DE CAFÉ COLINAS DEL MACIZO Colinas del Macizo es una organización asentada en el municipio de Pitalito y específicamente en el corregimiento de Bruselas región reconocida como la zona en la cual está la mayor cantidad de hectáreas sembradas de café en el país.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Pitalito, en un área de influencia directa de 5 veredas: Bombonal, Esperanza, Porvenir, El Carmen y Pensil.

NÚMERO DE ASOCIADOS: 24 ÁREA TOTAL: 55 Has PRODUCCIÓN DE CAFÉ AL AÑO: 169.700 kilos.

CERTIFICACIONES OBTENIDAS: En proceso de organización y adecuación de las fincas.

COFFEE PRODUCERS ASSOTIATION COLINAS DEL MACIZO Colinas del Macizo is an organization that is located in Bruselas, Pitalito. It is well-known because it is one of the villages that has more coffee hectares in the country.

LOCATION: The Caney is an organization located in Pitalito. It has an area of direct influence of 5 villages: Bombonal, Esperanza, Porvenir, El Carmen and Pensil.

NUMBER OF PARTNERS: 24 TOTAL AREA: 55 hectares COFFEE PRODUCTION PER YEAR: 169.700 kilos.

OBTAINED APPROVALS: In process of organization and adequacy of property.

ASOPROCAGUA ASOPROCAGUA Fundada en Noviembre de 2006, está dedicada a la producción de cafés especiales y el ecoturismo por estar localizada en cercanías de la Laguna de Guatipán dentro del anillo Turístico del sur del Huila que lo conforman los municipios: Pitalito, Isnos y San Agustín.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Pitalito, en el corregimiento La Laguna, sus asociados ocupan seis veredas: 7 de Agosto, La Unión, Laguna Verde, Laguna Centro, El Mirador y Arrayanes.

NÚMERO DE ASOCIADOS: 38 ÁREA TOTAL: 155 Has PRODUCCIÓN DE CAFÉ AL AÑO: 100.000 kilos CERTIFICACIONES OBTENIDAS: 23 socios con certificación RAINFOREST ALLIANCE desde noviembre de 2009.

ASOPROCAGUA ASOPROCAGUA was founded in November 2006. It focuses on the production of special coffee and ecotourism as it is located near the Guatipán Lake in the southern part of Huila: Pitalito, Isnos and St. Agustin.

LOCATION: This is an organization located in the village La Laguna in Pitalito. Its partners are in the villages : 7 de Agosto, La Unión, Laguna Verde, Laguna Centro, El Mirador y Arrayanes.

NUMBER OF PARTNERS: 38 TOTAL AREA: 155 hectares COFFEE PRODUCTION PER YEAR: 100.000 kilos.

CABILDO EL ROSAL Esta organización fue fundada en el año 1998 mediante Resolución 002 del Cabildo Mayor Popayán. Su meta es llegar a ser un resguardo y están adelantando proyectos a nivel local para la enseñanza de la lengua indígena Quechua, la escritura, los bailes, la música y todo el componente social, cultural y económico buscando mantener y defender su cultura.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Pitalito, sus asociados ocupan el sector conocido como Yamboró conformado por la veredas: Monte Bonito, Aguadas, Alto Pinos, y La Paz. NÚMERO DE ASOCIADOS: 109 ÁREA TOTAL: 34 Has PRODUCCIÓN DE CAFÉ AL AÑO: 50.000 kilos

CABILDO EL ROSAL This organization was founded in 1998 by Resolution 002 of Popayán Council. Its goal is to become a ward, so they are leading some local projects to teach people the indigenous Quechua, writing, dancing, music and all social, cultural and economical issues in order to keep and protect their culture.

LOCATION: This is an organization located in Pitalito. Its partners are in Yomboró. It has 3 villages: Monte Bonito, Aguadas, Alto Pinos and La Paz. NUMBER OF PARTNERS: 109 TOTAL AREA: 34 hectares COFFEE PRODUCTION PER YEAR: 50.000 kilos.

COOMAGRO LTDA. Coomagro es una organización que funciona como cooperativa y cuya actividad principal es la producción de café, además cuenta con un centro de acopio para la compra del producto a sus asociados.

UBICACIÓN: La organización se ubica en el sur del departamento del Huila, municipio de Pitalito, en un área de influencia directa de 5 veredas: Charguayaco, Paraíso Charguayaco, Laureles, Costa Rica y Resinas.

NÚMERO DE ASOCIADOS: 50 ÁREA TOTAL: 150 Has PRODUCCIÓN DE CAFÉ AL AÑO: 150.000 kilos.

COOMAGRO LTDA. Coomagro is an organization that operates as a cooperative and whose main activity is coffee production. It has also a collection center for the purchase of the product.

LOCATION: This is an organization located in Pitalito. In an area of direct influence of 5 villages: Charguayaco, Paraíso Charguayaco, Laureles, Costa Rica and Resinas.

NUMBER OF PARTNERS: 50 TOTAL AREA: 150 hectares COFFEE PRODUCTION PER YEAR: 150.000 kilos.

GRUPO ASOCIATIVO SAN LORENZO Su actividad principal es la producción de café especial manejado con tecnologías limpias sin afectar los recursos naturales y el medio ambiente.

SERANKWA Serankwa is an organization that belongs to the Civil Society Network Reserves of the Colombian Massif. Coffee is the main activity of the association. So are cold weather crops and handicrafts, among others.

LOCATION: The organization is located in San Agustin, Huila in an area of direct influence of 9 villages: Llanada de Naranjos, Lavaderos, Platanares, La Argentina, Esperanza, La Estrella, Santa Mónica, La Candela and Timanco.

NUMBER OF PARTNERS: 40 TOTAL AREA: 820 hectares COFFEE PRODUCTION PER YEAR: 19.166 kilos.
