Hi! My name is Gonzalo and I am not only a graphic designer, but also an illustrator, video editor and 2D motion grapher who’s always looking for new challenges to take. Let me introduce you some of the projects I feel more proud of. This is just the first step and a very little sample of all I can do. Hope you like it!
Since 2020 I am working at the Culinary Institute of Barcelona (CIB) as responsible for all graphic and multimedia content, being part of the marketing department of the CIB in the branding area.

The key point of CIB’s look and feel in both graphic designs and media is to convey the student experience as honestly and clearly as possible. Here are some examples of some of CIB’s latest projects.
As a graphic content creator in the CIB’s marketing department, my job consists of being the image and video creator for advertising campaigns and social media.
The creative process goes from taking the images themselves and video recording to the editing and post-production of that content. I am also responsible for the graphic content that is generated for social networks and the webpage.

One of the biggest graphics projects in CIB, was taking the branding and visual lead by creating the branding manual and brand guidelines for internal and external use.
The aim of the project was to consolidate the brand values and prepare the path and guidelines for future graphic, visual and creative projects involving CIB.

The video was made as a cinematic trailer for the Haute Cuisine Chef Diploma, CIB’s principal course.

The idea was to capture the story behind some of the students coursing the program at that moment and to let them tell their own stories, backgrounds and goals.
The briefing for the video was to make future students get hyped about the program as they were going to live their own “movie”, so that’s why we made the trailer for it.
Most of the shots in this video were filmed during actual PCAC program sessions, so no acting was needed.
“PCAC will be your movie, and this is its trailer”

This video was created as a claim for future students to show the stories and backgrounds behind actual CIB students. This project is about Malik, Molecular Cuisine student from Dubai.

Besides the interview shots, the rest was filmed during actual CIB sessions, so no shots were played or faked for this video.

Video documentary for social media in which we show what a field trip of CIB looks like. In this case ,we went with the Executive Chef Diploma students to Port Aventura to learn about the functions of the Executive Chef of a theme park, hotels, and convention center.

All the footage was shot at the time of the actual trip. No shots were faked or played.
