I am pleased to share a copy of Gonzaga’s “Printer’s Proof,” a preliminary listing of donors to the Gonzaga Fund, previous capital campaigns, and/or Gonzaga’s endowment. This publication reflects gifts received as of April 15, 2018. However, the Gonzaga fiscal year will not close until June 30, 2018. Thank you to all of you who have thus far made Gonzaga a priority in your charitable contributions. Of course, supporting Gonzaga is about far more than having your name appear in a publication. Donors to the Gonzaga Fund, for example, represent a community of people who are committed to one of Gonzaga’s most vital fundraising efforts. Gifts to the Gonzaga Fund provide the school with an essential stream of discretionary income, allowing Gonzaga to direct funds to areas of greatest need, such as financial aid, faculty salaries, and student programs and services. Our operating budget is over $24 million, yet our tuition dollars represent only $18.5 million of the annual budget. Therefore, it is the generosity of so many that allows Gonzaga to remain accessible, all the while providing a world-class education for our students, no matter their financial situation. Every year, there is a significant gap between tuition revenue and what it actually costs to educate a young man at Gonzaga. This year, that gap is more than $3,500 per student. Your support of the Gonzaga Fund or Gonzaga’s endowment enables us to further our Jesuit mission on Eye Street without raising tuition beyond the means of many of our families, while at the same time offering more than $3 million in financial assistance to deserving students. For those of you have already made a gift, we are enormously grateful. And for those who have yet to make an investment into life on Eye Street, you still have time. Please also know that all gifts make a difference and are appreciated, no matter the size—it’s the collective impact of many friends of Gonzaga that will help us surpass our fundraising goals. With June 30 in mind, please take a moment to make your gift via the enclosed envelope or by giving online at www.gonzaga.org/giving.

Gonzaga College High School will celebrate our bicentennial in 2021 and we are excited to embrace this milestone. It is a chance to reflect on our countless blessings since 1821, but also an opportunity to preserve our school’s future by investing in the young men who will walk our halls in the decades to come. Thank you for supporting Gonzaga. I look forward to hearing from you and witnessing the difference we can make for our students. Devotedly yours,

David Dugan ’98 Gonzaga College High School Vice President, Alumni & Advancement 202.370.5354 / ddugan@gonzaga.org
