While the 2020-2021 school year has been marked with unique challenges, we also have great cause to celebrate. This year Gonzaga celebrates its Bicentennial Anniversary, a milestone that would not have been possible without the dedication and generosity of countless men and women. In addition, we celebrate the tenure of outgoing Gonzaga President Father Stephen W. Planning, SJ, who for the past decade has led Gonzaga with a deep commitment to our Catholic Jesuit mission and an inspired vision for the future. He leaves a legacy that will benefit Gonzaga students for generations to follow. Yet another reason we have to celebrate is the response we have seen and felt this year from you, our dedicated and loyal benefactors. Over the past year, as Gonzaga navigated the challenges of running our school during the pandemic, we have been grateful to have the support of our alumni, current and past parents, and friends. The Gonzaga faithful once again rose to the occasion; your support helped us respond quickly and creatively to virtual and hybrid learning, as well as increase tuition assistance to our families. Yet we still have a ways to go. This year Gonzaga has set an ambitious goal of raising $3.7 million to support the school’s operating budget via our annual fund, the Gonzaga Fund. Meeting that goal is essential in order to meet our commitment to provide tuition assistance to nearly 40 percent of our students, keep our tuition significantly lower than our per-student cost, and support our talented and committed faculty and staff. Enclosed is our annual Printer’s Proof, a preliminary listing of donors to the 2020-2021 Gonzaga Fund as well as all campaign benefactors (as of April 16, 2021). For those of you who have already made a gift, we are enormously grateful. For those who have yet to give, I hope you’ll consider supporting the school before the fiscal year closes on June 30, 2021. Please know that all gifts make a difference, no matter the size. It is the collective impact of our entire community—including you—that will help us continue to deliver on our Jesuit mission on Eye Street. Thank you as always for being our partners in that mission and we look forward to seeing you again soon on Eye Street. Sincerely yours,

David Dugan ’98 Vice President of Alumni & Advancement (o) 202.370.5354 (c) 202.412.0584 ddugan@gonzaga.org
