Dead aim: Pros are being offered good deals on Nikon rangefinders
NIKON TO SPONSOR PGA SOUTH REGION Rangefinder manufacturer Nikon is to become one of the headline sponsors of The PGA in England (South) for the new season. The deal cements Nikon’s commitment to supporting PGA Pros across the UK, after the company recently launched the Nikon Coolshot Ambassador Scheme. Nikon has produced a
number of special deals and offers for PGA Professionals on its Coolshot model, which is tournament legal for golfers, subject to local rules. Roger Wolfe, managing director of Yumax, which has the UK licence for Nikon rangefinders, said: “We are very excited about this relationship. We believe that the best people to sell the Nikon Coolshot lasers
are PGA Professionals. This relationship marks the start of our commitment to give back.” As a PGA in England (South) Associate, Nikon will now become the title sponsor of The PGA in England (South) Assistants & Trainees Order of Merit, the Assistants Championship and the Assistants Match Play Championship in 2013.
