WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL? Late October to the end of March is the ideal time to travel. For your clients the attraction is getting away from the colder weather and enjoying some golf in the sunshine. For you, it is the time of year that you can afford to be away from your day to day business.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I START THE PROCESS? The earlier the better! This gives you plenty of time to market to your customers and will ensure you secure the facilities that best suit your needs. Think of how you regularly communicate with your clients and make sure your trip gets plenty of exposure.

WHERE SHOULD I GO? We are the experts, so please get in touch. We will identify what is best for you and your group, from the right destination and resort to the time of year to travel, while

taking your budget and the ideal itinerary into consideration.

WHAT’S REQUIRED TO MAKE THE BOOKING? Our team will do all of the hard work for you: checking availability, securing the best tee times, accommodation options and slots for the practice facilities.

We can also arrange flights, car hire and any transfers. To make a reservation, all we need is a £200 holding deposit. You then have one month to collect the rest of the deposit, which is from £35 per person. The full balance is due eight to ten weeks prior to travel.

HOW DO I DETERMINE MY MARK-UP? Your mark-up is determined by how much structured tuition you plan to do during the break. Think about what you would charge normally for lessons and time on the course and use this as a guide to building in your fee. Many pros

add on £30-£50 per person each day to cover their time. Remember you will also get a 5% commission from Golfbreaks.com.

HOW DO I MARKET THE TRIP? Marketing your trip well is essential and the earlier you start the easier it will be to fill the spaces. Test the water with an email to your database and follow up with a personal invitation to those that show interest. Golfbreaks.com can assist with collateral to help you here, and once you have done a couple of these trips word of mouth will be one of your strongest tools.
