Great Family Fun! Are you looking for new ways to keep your kids entertained? The Sovereign Centre has a packed timetable full of fun kid’s activities! Sovey Tumblers are soft play sessions for children aged 5 and under. Children enjoy bouncy castle, soft play, games and a free swim in the Fun Pool! Available Wednesdays and Fridays from 09:30-12:00, and Saturday from 09:00-11:00. Junior Gym sessions for ages 11-15 are available Monday 17:45-18:45, Friday 17:45-18:45 and Sunday 11:15-12:15 and for ages 8-11 Sunday 12:15-13:15. Kids can experience the gym under the supervision of a qualified fitness instructor. Active Kidz fully supervised Holiday Club for ages 8 – 12 runs every school holiday. Kids enjoy multi sports, games, competitions, the giant inflatable pirate ship and swimming in the Fun Pool with its waves and flume. Half and full days sessions are available. H20 Pool Party runs every Friday night throughout the year. With a live DJ, flume races, pool volleyball and dance competitions, big waves and prizes to be won! Social Group for 13+ Aspergers. £5 a session. The group focuses on improving social and communication skills, making new friends and having fun. Teenz chose the activities, Animation, Cookery, Music, Art, Xbox Tournaments, Wii, Bowling, Cinema, Mini-Golf.
SATURDAY CLUBS 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, 9.30am-12.30pm. (3-8 Yr olds), 1.30pm-4.30pm. (9-12 Yr olds) An exciting new club for children with Autism Spectrum Conditions. £5 a session, booking essential.
The club provides a wide range of structured and fun activities including; Music, Cookery, Art, Interactive Games and Sensory Sessions.
ACTIVE SATURDAYS First Saturday of each month - Venue & prices dependant on activity.
A group for 10-19 year olds with Aspergers. Active Saturdays takes place on the first Saturday of each month, providing activities to suit a wide range of interests and abilities. By accessing a variety of facilities within the community, the group will allow participants to build confidence, develop social skills and increase independence.
ROCK AND POP WORKSHOP Saturdays, £5 per session. 1.30pm-3.30pm Pop Music Group. 3.30pm-5.30pm Rock Music Group.
Calling all wannabe drummers, singers, guitarists, bassists and keyboard players! Autism Sussex are running a rock and pop workshop for 12-24 year olds. Come and be part of a live band playing a variety of songs, including; rock classics, old favourites, pop hits and modern chart toppers. Write your own original music, record and produce your own CD! No experience necessary, all abilities welcome, come along and join in the jam!
NEW AFTER SCHOOL CLUB Wednesdays, 4pm-5.30pm. £5 per session.
Autism Sussex are setting up a new After School club for children aged 9-13 with Aspergers and High Functioning ASC. The group will focus on learning social skills and improving communication methods. The Club will allow children to make new friends and have fun, all in a relaxed and informal setting. Each week there will be different activities including; Film Nights, Wii and Xbox Tournaments, Pool and Football Table leagues, Photography, Cookery, Art, Textiles, Sewing and Music.
