Barista Training for Young People
Due to popular demand, Council has added an additional Barista Training workshop to its Youth Work Readiness Program. The additional session will run on Saturday 18 November from 1.30 to 4.30pm at the Golden Plains Youth Hub in Milton Street, Bannockburn. Interested people can register to attend at goldenplains.vic.gov.au/events Council has been offering free work readiness training for young people aged 14 to 25 in food handling, first aid and barista training throughout in October and November October and November 2023. 2023. Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme (CDS Vic) began on Wednesday 1 November 2023. The scheme rewards Victorians with a 10-cent refund for every eligible can, carton and bottle they they return. return.
